Hello and welcome to the Team Rise or Fall Week 9 GPP picks article. Tournament plays are going to differ from typical cash games plays. We’re looking for correlation, stacking our quarterback with one or two of his pass-catchers and even having a secondary stack to run it back.
Watson and the Texans are coming off a bye week so they should be well-rested going into the matchup against the Jaguars. The division rivals played 4 weeks ago, in a game where Watson put up 29.9 DraftKings points. He projects as a top-five scoring quarterback in the Team Rise of Fall NFL Study Hub.
We’re going back to the well with another quarterback coming off of a bye in Kyler Murray. Murray projects as the NFL Study Hub’s top projected quarterback on the main slate. While the game’s implied total isn’t one of the highest on the slate (47.5), I’m hoping this will take some ownership off of Murray and allows us to get Murray at low ownership – one can dream, right?
Robinson has been great this season when given opportunities. This week he has two things going for him. First, he has the benefit of going against one of the worst teams in the league at defending the run. Second, the Jaguars starting QB Gardner Minshew will miss this week’s game with an injured hand forcing the team to start rookie Jake Luton. Robinson has touched the ball an average of 20 times over the last four weeks and with a rookie QB at the helm he will probably see more than that.
I’m going to be honest here – I’m not 100% sold on this play. However, if we get to see the McCaffrey we saw last season and the usage to go along with it, I’m willing to guarantee that you wouldn’t hesitate to pay the $8.5k price tag.
If you’re running out Kyler. you are going to want to stack him with his main target DeAndre Hopkins. Nuk is averaging 26.73% of the team’s target share which is about nine targets per game over the last four weeks. He is the second-highest projected receiver in our Study Hub.
Fuller’s hamstrings had an extra week of rest and should be ready to go against Jacksonville this Sunday. He is Deshaun’s main target averaging 8.3 targets over the last four weeks accounting for 22.73% of the team’s targets.
Andrews has been a bit of a disappointment to this point in the season, but it doesn’t fall squarely on his shoulders. Lamar Jackson hasn’t exactly been the playmaker we saw all of last season. He has yet to see double-digit targets this season but, with the Raven’s coming off a bye week, they should be refreshed.
There’s not a lot that can’t be said about Kelce on a week-to-week basis. He tops the Study Hub as the highest-rated, highest projected, and is even one of the top values at the position, even at his high price tag. When Mahomes is throwing you the ball, you always have a chance at making plays.

I follow some basics when it comes to picking my defenses. First, my defenses have to have a solid pass rush. Second, I want to attack a team with a turnover-prone quarterback. This game hits those two points.
The same two rules as above apply, but you get to throw a quarterback into the mix.
