MLB DFS has a twelve-game main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel, and SuperDraft today.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Cole is one of two high K-Rate studs on the slate. Cole comes in with a 33.9% K-rate against this Blue Jays roster with a wOBA of .237. Blue Jay bats exploded a few days ago for 15 runs but this isn’t a situation where I’m afraid to fire up Cole. Lock him in and move on.
Depending on where you want to go with your SP2 on DraftKings I really like the A’s tonight. They get to go against Madison Bumgardner who gives up power to right-handed batters (RHB). For his career, MadBum has given up six times as many home runs to RHB as to the other side of the plate. Looks at the A’s rights and watch the fireworks.
Glasnow is the other high K-Rate stud on the slate. He doesn’t have many appearances against this Texas team but he’s been hot-fire in his first two starts of the season. He’s gone six innings in both of his starts, which is important on FanDuel considering the quality start bonus. His pitches thrown went from 77 to 97 which shows the Rays are willing to let him throw.
I want to stack the other side of the Oakland/Arizona game and look at Diamondbacks bats. They are coming off a series win against the Reds in which they scored 5, 7, and 8 runs. Chris Bassitt is no stud and carries a low 19.5k rate against this current Arizona roster. I want these bats to fit in a high-priced stud pitcher along with a nice expensive primary stack.
My tournament stack of the day goes to the New York Yankees. The Yankees have been ice cold to start the season but how long will it last? They face Robbie Ray who is known for getting himself into trouble with walks and home runs. Ray gives up homers to RHB and guess what the Yankees lineup is littered with? Yeah, power right-handed batters. I’m hoping people will be off of them today because of their recent lack of production but we’ll see.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member identifies the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
