Top 5 MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings and FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks

DraftKings MLB DFS Target – Charlie Morton, P, ATL vs MIA, O/U 8.5

Morton grades out as the highest-rated pitcher on the main slate in the MLB Study Hub. The right-handed pitcher comes into tonight’s game against the Marlins with a 29.2% K-Rate and a low 7.9% BB-Rate. It’s hard to imagine the Marlins putting up two touchdowns worth of runs again tonight and I trust our projects. Lock him in.

DraftKings MLB DFS Target – Houston Astros, HOU vs DET, O/U 9

Houston, we have a problem. The Astros were chalk yesterday and they busted. Today they’ll face Michael Fulmer who carries an even lower K-Rate than Boyd did last night and gives up the third-highest HH% of any starting pitcher on tonight’s slate. Let’s see if the Astros can right their ship.

FanDuel MLB DFS Target – Lance McCullers Jr, P, HOU vs DET, O/U

Zach Plesac is the second-highest-rated pitcher on FanDuel in the MLB Study Hub. This will be his third start of the season. The reason he stands out is Cleveland’s willingness to go deep into games. In both of his starts, he’s gotten the quality start bonus. He’s not a high-strikeout guy (21.3% K-Rate) but he will eat up innings.

FanDuel MLB DFS Target – Atlanta Braves, ATL vs MIA, O/U 8.5

The Braves are the highest-projected stack in the MLB Study Hub. They put up a respectable eight runs yesterday, it’s just that the Marlins put up 14. The pitcher they’re facing, Nick Neidert is a young kid in only his second start. I don’t mind stacking the Braves and watching how it unfolds.

MLB DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Los Angeles Dodgers, LAD vs COL, O/U 7.5

Yep, right back to the Dodgers. Again, not an impressive Vegas total (7.5 runs) but until I see Jon Gray consistently put up the numbers he did in his first start I’ll pay the premium for Dodger bats. Gray gives up home runs to both sides of the plate so I’m not discriminating against righties or lefties in the Dodger lineup.

MLB Strategy Notebook

The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!

MLB DFS Picks and Pools (GPP Priority Picks)

The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.

MLB Stacks for DraftKings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft

The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
