MLB DFS has a 14-game main slate on SuperDraft, a nine-game main slate on DraftKings, and an eight-game main slate on FanDuel today. All of the main slates begin at 1:05 PM EST/10:05 AM PST.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Beiber is the highest rated pitcher in the Team Rise or Fall MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. He has the 4th highest K% and the lowest BB% on the slate. Cleveland has lost two games in a row so I’m looking for Beiber to step up and stop the slide with a solid performance today.
Cleveland is the 4th highest ranked offense in our MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. We’re projecting them to be the 7th highest owned stack. That low run total is a little scary, but if Beiber holds down the Cincy batters then the Cleveland hitters can carry the load.
Nola is the second highest rated pitcher in our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. He’s striking out 27.8% of the batters he faces, and has the highest soft contact rate of any pitcher on the slate. The biggest negative I see for Nola is the Philadelphia offense which could prevent him from getting the win just because they don’t score a lot.
The Yankees come into today’s action as losers of four straight games. I mentioned yesterday with the Houston Astros that I usually avoid teams on 3+ losing streaks. That’s because an old school baseball betting strategy is to “Bet the Streak.” If a team wins three games in a row then you keep betting on them to win until they lose. If a team loses three games in a row then you keep betting on them to lose until they win.
I liked the Astros offense yesterday and thought they would snap their losing streak. They did end the losing with a 1-0 victory over Seattle. I’m expecting the Yankees to do much more scoring as they bring they’re losing streak to an end.
MLB DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Milwaukee Brewers Stack, MIL vs PIT, O/U 7.5
The Brewers are the highest rated stack in our MLB DFS Study Hubs for DraftKings and FanDuel. We’re projecting Milwaukee to be the highest owned stack on DraftKings and the second highest owned stack on FanDuel.
Since we know they’ll be well owned we need to get creative/unique with our mini stacks and one-offs OR get creative within the stack. Manny Pina batting seventh is a good addition to a stack instead of just running the 1-5 or 1-6 minus one of the players.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member identifies the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
