MLB DFS has a 6-game main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel, and SuperDraft today.
These are the early Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Musgrove is going to be a popular option tonight, especially on a site like DraftKings where it is required to roster two pitchers. Musgrove is coming off a no-hitter in his last outing, so recency bias will be at the forefront of a lot of people’s minds. However, he is a good play tonight. The Brewers have a Vegas implied run total of 2.9 runs, the lowest on the slate. Musgrove isn’t one to walk many batters, carrying a 5.7% BB-rate. Lock and him and look for your SP2 on DraftKings.
Our MLB DFS Study Hub loves the Angels tonight. The Angels are the highest-projected scoring and highest-rated stack in our ‘DraftKings Stacks’ model. They face “rookie” Kohei Arihara, who’s in his first year in the MLB but had played for years in Japan’s major league. In the limited appearances we have for the right-hander it seems as if he gets hit from both sides of the plate. I don’t mind taking Angels bats from both sides of the plate to stack and hopefully get away from the Dodgers chalk.
On FanDuel where we can only roster one pitcher, I’m looking at Dylan Bundy. I’m trusting our MLB Study Hub here as he is the highest-rated option on the slate. He’s facing an anemic Ranger’s offense that was shut out in extra innings yesterday. Bundy sports a nice 24.3% K-rate while limiting hard contact on only 32.5% of his pitches. I also want to get away from the chalk that Musgrove will be on FanDuel, to go along with the $1,500 in savings.
I don’t know what this world is coming to, but my Giants are the highest-rated stack in the MLB Study Hub. They’ve been a pleasant surprise to start the season and have been scoring runs. They provide the best value on the slate which should allow you to look for a more expensive stack elsewhere to complement the Giants value. Chase Anderson isn’t a high strikeout guy and his walk rate is the third-highest on the slate.
MLB DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Los Angeles Dodgers, LAD vs COL, O/U 8.5
I know, I know – the Dodgers, again. They are the second highest-scoring team in all of MLB to this point in the season. They are always going to rate highly in the MLB Study Hub on both DraftKings and FanDuel because of all their offensive firepower. They will come at a hefty price which will cause you to have to sacrifice in other areas but if you can get those others are right chances are you’re ending up in the green.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member identifies the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
