MLB DFS has a six-game slate on DraftKings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft today.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Lopez is the highest rated pitcher in the Team Rise or Fall MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. We saw a pitching duel yesterday between the Marlins and Rays and it looks like we’re getting another one today.
Pablo has a 20.9% strikeout rate which brings him in at middle of the pack on this slate. I’m looking for him to minimize the hits and walks since he probably won’t be the K leader on the day.
Yesterday I liked Corey Seager and Cody Bellinger from the Dodgers and they did ok considering Bellinger got a home run reduced to a run scoring single. Today I’m going to dip right back into the waters of Coors Field with the Dodgers leadoff man.
Vegas is telling us to expect a lot of runs in this game and I think this is a bounce back game for LA. Those two factors mean the guy batting first should get five or six at bats which means five or six scoring opportunities. Those are situations I love to target.
Snell is the third highest rated pitcher in our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. He’ll be making his debut for his new team and I’m looking for a good performance to start his tenure.
Blake has the highest K% and the lowest wOBA of all of the pitchers on the slate. That’s a great combination when you’re looking to pay up at the pitching position.
France is the fifth highest rated batter in our MLB DFS Study for FanDuel. He comes in behind four Dodgers that have the benefit of playing in Colorado today.
Ty is slated to bat second when the Mariners face the Giants and Johnny Cueto. He’s an insanely affordable 2.6k on FD today so don’t be surprised if his ownership is high today. That doesn’t really matter once you’re building your stacks and sliding France in as a one off.
When we’re building stacks we want to target offenses that have the potential to go off, and players that are going to get a lot of plate appearances. Well, Lux falls into one of those categories as the Dodgers are in a game with an implied 12 run total. The only drawback is Lux is slated to bat 8th today.
Gavin is one of the highest rated players on both DK and FD and I’m not put off by his low position in the batting order. In fact we can use that to our advantage. The typical stacks involve some combination of the 1-6 hitters. By using Lux you could run an 8-1-2-3-4 or a 3-4-5-6-8 stack. Since the Dodgers are the road team that could give Lux an additional plate appearance.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member identifies the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
