MLB DFS has a a seven-game main slate on DraftKings, and an six-game main slate on FanDuel today. All of the main slates begin at 3:10 PM PST/6:10 PM EST.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
David Peterson, or after his last start against the Phillies, I like to call him Cy Peterson. He carries the second-highest rating in our MLB Study Hub on the main slate of games on DraftKings. The Cub’s bats come into this game rather cold and I like the idea of paying down for Peterson as my SP2.
The MLB Study Hub loves Boston bats tonight. The Red Sox will face off against Trent Thornton of the Blue Jays. Thornton is a low strikeout, high walk guy who should have some trouble with the Boston lineup. He gives up power to both sides of the plate, but I want the heavy hitters on the Boston side – Martinez, Bogaerts, and Devers.
Zach Davies stands out in the MLB Study for tonight’s main slate as he carries the highest pitcher rating. He is not a high strikeout guy (17.k% K-rate), but he doesn’t walk very many batters either (7.4% BB-Rate). At a price tag of only $5,700 he allows you to pay up for some nice stacks and hopefully garner some low ownership.
On FanDuel I’m digging some Atlanta Braves stacks. Corey Kluber isn’t quite the pitcher he once was and hasn’t made it out of the 4th inning in any of his three starts this year. If we are paying down at pitcher I’m loading up on the expensive Braves bats – Acuna, Freeman, Ozuna.
MLB DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Toronto Blue Jays, TOR @ BOS, O/U 9.5
Toronto bats seem to be loved by the MLB Study Hub today as they are tops on both DraftKings and FanDuel. They face Garret Richards who hasn’t made it past 5 innings this season and has a season-high of 4 strikeouts in two games. Specifically, I’m looking at Semien, Bichette, Guerrero, Biggio, and Gurriel.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member identifies the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
