MLB DFS has a 14-game main slate on SuperDraft, a 12-game main slate on DraftKings, and an 11-game main slate on FanDuel. The main slate begins at 1:05 PM EST/10:05 AM PST.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Kopech and the White Sox are -192 favorites today against the Rangers. The Sox come into today’s action riding a three-game win streak. Texas has lost two straight games which will become three straight at the end of today’s action.
The Rangers have the third highest team strike out rate at 28.5%. Kopech should be able to take advantage of that while securing the win.
The Astros are the sixth rated offense and projected to be the fifth highest owned on a slate with 24 teams. One thing with big MLB slates is it’s tough to try to stack every team. I’d go as far as to say it’s not smart. I find it best to try to lock in on five or six teams and see how it plays out.
If you stacked every team today you’d have roughly six stacks of each team in a 150 max contest. You’re going to have to nail the non-stack pieces in each of those stacks to be profitable. OR, you can select your top five stacks and have 30 entries of each. Anyways, I like Houston to have a big day.
McCullers and the Astros have a three-game winning streak on the line tonight when they take on the Angels. Lance does have the dreaded Q next to his name but if he can go I think he’s a solid play.
If McCullers doesn’t pitch and the Astros throw someone else in at the last minute then I’m shifting to liking the Angels in this game.
The Royals are the eighth ranked stack while being projected to be the ninth highest owned stack. Since this is such a big slate there’s no reason to worry too much about ownership. The ownerships will be spread out pretty well between 22 teams.
The Royals have won three straight games and they have MLB’s second lowest strike out rate at 21.7%. I’m looking for them to string hits together while working their way to six or seven runs today.
MLB DFS Lineup Winning Pick – New York Yankees Stack, NYY @ CLE, O/U 8
The Yankees rank as the third best stack on DraftKings and the sixth best stack on FanDuel in the Team Rise or Fall MLB DFS Study Hub. They’re projected for 4.2 runs today. I’m looking for them to score over six runs to make them a solid play for today.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member identifies the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
