MLB DFS has a nine-game main slate on DraftKings andFanDuel today.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
I don’t know what needs to be said about Burnes. He’s averaging 10 strikeouts over his first four starts, he’s only given up one run in those games. His ERA is a stupid 0.37. He comes with a hefty price but as I’ve learned on DraftKings, just pay up for at least one stud and let the research take you to your SP2. Don’t get cute, take the raw points and move on.
The A’s have been hot and will go against Rich Hill tonight. The As right-handed batters are what catch my eye tonight against the journeyman Hill as he gives up power and hard contact to them. I will have heavy exposure to Canha, Chapman, Laureano, and even Piscotty if he’s in the lineup.
Morton will be going against a relatively cold Cubs team. He carries an excellent 29.2% K-Rate into tonight’s contest. At only $8,600 on FanDuel you should be able to carry some decent bats into your stacks to pair with Morton.
The Astros will be going up against left-hander Justus Sheffield. Sheffield does give up hard contact to right-handed batters and they have been hitting better as of late. I want to target Correa, Gurriel, Bregman, and even left-handed batter Yordan Alvarez.
MLB DFS Lineup Winning Pick – New York Yankees, NYY @ BAL , O/U 9
The chalk tonight should end up being the Yankees. They face gas-can Matt Harvey. Harvey gives up contact and power to both sides of the plate so don’t be surprised to see the Yankees carry heavy ownership in both cash and tournaments. I think the key will be finding ways to get different in your Yankee stack and to make sure you pair them with the right pitcher.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member identifies the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
