MLB DFS has a four-game main slate on DraftKings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft. The main slate begins at 7:20 PM EST/4:20 PM PST.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
We had a five-game slate but the Detroit-Chicago White Sox game got pulled from the slate. I liked Rodon a lot today but now we’ll move on to Trevor Bauer.
Bauer has scored more than 30 fantasy points just once so far this season. He also hasn’t been below 23 fantasy points in any of his five starts. Vegas likes the Dodgers and Brewers to be somewhat of a pitching duel. That has to be good news for us if we’re rostering Bauer.
The Diamondbacks are the second highest rated stack while projected to be the third highest owned stack in our MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. They’ve scored five, seven, five, and three runs in their last four games. I’m looking for them to drop some crooked numbers tonight when they light up the Rockies.
We should see a lefty heavy lineup for Arizona as they take on Colorado’s Antonio Senzatela. It’s not exciting but I prefer the top six batters in the order for this stack.
We’re not left with a lot of options on a four-game slate so let’s all welcome Luke Weaver to the write-up. He’s not a terrible pitcher but he’s a few tiers below the guys I usually like to roster.
Weaver had a 55 fantasy point outburst against the Cincinnati Reds two and a half weeks ago but he’s scored 18 or less in his other three starts. If Luke puts up 25 I think we should all be more than happy.
Boston is the fifth highest rated stack while being projected to be the fourth most owned stack in our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. I’m taking a bit of hack with this stack but there’s a few reasons to believe they’ll go off.
The Sox have won three straight games, the weather is expected to be hot and humid so the roof will be closed in Texas, and it’s been nine games since their offense has gone ballistic. I know “being due” isn’t the strongest indicator for success but it is about that time for the Red Sox to drop a 10+ spot.
MLB DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Atlanta Braves Stack, ATL vs CHC, O/U 9.5
The Braves have won three straight games and scored eight, five, and 10 runs over that stretch. I like playing hot bats in MLB DFS so I’m riding with the Braves.
I’m a fan of almost every batter in the projected order for Atlanta. I think you can build some unique stacks if Heredia bats in the eighth spot tonight.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member identifies the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
