MLB DFS has a seven-game main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel, and SuperDraft today.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Jacob DeGrom is the bee’s knees on both DraftKings and FanDuel’s main slate. He possesses an elite strikeout rate of 32.9% (the highest on the slate) while holding hitters to the lowest wOBA (weighted on Base percentage) and ISO (Isolated Power). Last year’s issues weren’t with deGrom it was his offense that didn’t give him enough run support, hopefully, that’ll change this season with some new additions.
The Milwaukee Brewers grade out as the best stack in the MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. They face RHP Trevor Williams who has given up more home runs to RHB (44) than to LHB (31). I know common research says to play the splits of LHB against RHP but the stats show that it’s okay to play guys like Keston Hiura, Avisail Garcia, and Lorenzo Cain tonight.
I know deGrom is written up in the DraftKings portion but he’s the ace on this slate. No one else will provide the safety and upside that deGrom gives.
The Rays are graded as the best FanDuel stack per the MLB DFS Study Hub. Nick Pavetta (RHP) has a very limited BvP against the Rays (11 at-bats vs this lineup). The Rays are fairly priced and would allow you to fit in the stud deGrom.
The Angels rank as the 3rd and 4th best stacks respectively in FanDuel and DraftKings. The Angels will face youngster Luis Garcia who pitched in 5 games last season and started only once. I want to take the experienced Angles in this situation against a kid who will only be starting for the second time in his major league career. Shohei Otani looks to have avoided a major injury last night but won’t be in the lineup tonight but stack the Angels with confidence.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member identifies the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
