Top 5 MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings and FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks

DraftKings MLB DFS Target – Tyler Mahle, P, CIN @ ARI, O/U 9.5

The Cincinnati Reds are playing well and the Diamondbacks are playing poorly. On top of that Mahle will only run you 7.5K compared to Zach Plesac 9.6K, Lance McCullers 9.1K, and Zack Wheeler 8.8K. You’ll want to pair Tyler with one of these studs to give you a solid floor with your upside.

DraftKings MLB DFS Target – Los Angeles Angels Stack, LAA @ TOR, O/U 11

The Angels are projected to roll out a right-handed heavy lineup against BlueJays righty T.J. Zeuch and that doesn’t bother me at all. Los Angeles is projected for 5.7 runs today and they’ve scored 7+ runs in four out of seven games to start the season. Stack them up and rise to the top.

FanDuel MLB DFS Target – Lance McCullers, P, HOU vs OAK, O/U 9

Yesterday it was Lance Lynn in this spot so today we’re running it back with another Lance. McCullers is a good pitcher but this pick is based on the quality of the two teams to start the season.

The Astros have a +31 run differential. The A’s have a -40 run differential and have only score 19 runs through eight games. This seems like a spot where McCullers should be able to suffocate a struggling offense.

FanDuel MLB DFS Target – Houston Astros Stack, HOU vs OAK, O/U 9

You can look at what I wrote above for Lance McCullers and apply it to why I like the Astros stack tonight. Houston is back to stealing signs, oops, I mean swinging their bats like they were a couple of seasons ago. It’s early in the season so this doesn’t mean they’ll play like this all year, but I’m going to ride them while they’re hot.

MLB DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Los Angeles Angels Stack, LAA @ TOR, O/U 11

The Angels check a few boxes for me that I look for when targeting an offense. They’re a road favorite, they’re projected for the most runs on the slate, the weather conditions should be good for hitters, and the Blue Jays have lost three games in a row. They’re going to be a popular stack so get creative within your builds. That doesn’t mean fade Mike Trout, ALTHOUGH…..

The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night.
