MLB DFS has a 5-game main slate on DraftKings, and FanDuel. The main slate begins at 6:35 PM EST/3:35 PM PST on DraftKings and FanDuel.
** The Coors game has been postponed **
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Pitching on tonight’s slate is rough. Wood comes into tonight with a 3-0 record with a nice 1.96 ERA. Wood isn’t necessarily an innings-eater or a high strikeout guy but he’s the best of a bad bunch.
I’m stacking against Mitch Keller. I’m not overly impressed with his numbers on the season. He gives up hits to both sides of the plate so I’m not against including right-handed sticks in this stack. I’m looking primarily at stacking the heart of the lineup.
I think people are going to want to roster Kyle Gibson, but I’ll take the salary savings in Mahle. Pittsburgh doesn’t strikeout a whole lot but on the flip side of that the concern of Mahle giving up home runs isn’t quite there either.
I’ll happily stack the Rod Sox here going against Orioles starter Jorge Lopez. Lopez carries a 1-3 record and sports a 6.49 ERA. In review his splits it is obviously that he gives up more contact and power to lefties, so that is where my interest lies.
MLB DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Houston Astros, MIN vs TEX, O/U —
My tournament stack of the night goes to the Houston Astros. The Astros don’t strikeout and Gibson is looking to be a popular play. I don’t mind going against the grain here and taking a gamble on the Astros.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
