Top 5 MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings and FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks

DraftKings MLB DFS Picks (Pitcher) – Trevor Bauer, LAD vs MIA, O/U

Bauer ranks as the top rated pitcher in the Team Rise or Fall MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. Vegas hasn’t set a line on the game at the time of publication. If I had to guess I’d say 7.5 runs will be the total as the Marlins have a good pitching staff, and the Dodgers technically have a good pitching staff.

I’m looking for Trevor and the Dodgers to pick up a win in a low scoring affair tonight.

DraftKings MLB DFS Picks (Stack) – Philadelphia Phillies, PHI @ TOR, O/U 9.5

The Phillies are the top ranked stack in our MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. We’re projecting them to be the 5th highest owned stack, which if you know me, means I love the Phillies stack today.

There are a few more reasons to like Philadelphia today: Vegas put a 9.5 implied total on the game, Philly is the road team, and Philadelphia is averaging about five runs per game over their last eight games.

FanDuel MLB DFS Picks (Pitcher) – Carlos Rodon, CWS vs KC, O/U 8

Rodon is the highest rated pitcher in our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. He comes into tonight’s action with a 20% strikeout rate and a nearly 11% base on ball rate. I’d prefer the SO rate to be higher and the BB rate to be lower, but what are we gonna do?

The White Sox have the highest run differential in the league so they should be able to provide enough runs to cover Rodon allowing a couple of Royals to score.

FanDuel MLB DFS Picks (Stack) – Washington Nationals, WAS @ ARI O/U 9.5

I had the Nationals as one of my top stacks yesterday and with 17 runs, man did they come through. I’m not chasing with this selection today. I really like them to take it to the Arizona pitching staff again today. Will it be 17 runs worth of “taking it to?” No, probably not. Will they hang some crooked numbers? Yes, I believe they will.

MLB DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Houston Astros, HOU vs TEX, O/U 8.5

The Astros come in as the second best stack on both DraftKings and FanDuel in our MLB DFS Study Hubs. They’ve won four straight games. Houston is averaging six runs per game over their last 10 games, and seven runs per game over the four-game win streak. Load up the Houston bats and skyrocket to the top of the leaderboards!
