MLB DFS has a 14-game main slate on DraftKings, and FanDuel.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
I fully expect Kris Bubic to be a chalky SP2 tonight on DraftKings. Someone dropped the ball over at DraftKings pricing him at a measly $4,000. In his last two outings, he’s scored 19.1 and 14.4 DraftKings points. In looking at the MLB Study Hub we can see that Bubic carries a high soft contact rate of 19.5% for 7th best on the slate. In cash games, I’m locking him in as my SP2 so I can pay up for some premium bats.
I’m going, going back, back to Chicago. The White Sox fit exactly what @DFSnDonuts ranted about on stream yesterday. They were not a chalky stack and they provided upside. Now, today may be a different story since we know people love recency bias they may jump on the White Sox bandwagon. The MLB Study Hub ranks them as the 5th best DraftKings stack with the 6th most ownership. Twins starter Miguel Pineda gives up power and contact to lefties so that where I’d be looking.
We’re going right back to the well and we’re going to pick on the Rockies again. Snell projects as the best pitching value on FanDuel. He comes into the game with a 1-0 record in eight starts. In reviewing the MLB Study Hub, we see that he carries a 32.1% K-rate and a 9.1% BB-rate. Vegas expects this to be a relatively low-scoring matchup with an implied total of 7 runs.
Here we are, avoiding the chalk stacks again going with the Phillies. They’ll face off against Marlins right-hander Nick Neidert who comes into the game with an 0-1 record and 6.75 ERA. The Study Hub ranks the Phillies as the 4th best stack on FanDuel while garnering the 14th most ownership. A few of the familiar names are dealing with some nagging injuries (Harper-shoulder, Realmuto-wrist, Gregorius-elbow) but this seems like a smash spot considering the low ownership and the fact that they’ll be facing a sub-par pitcher.
MLB DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Milwaukee Brewers, CWS @ MIN, O/U 9
If you don’t think Bubic is going to be the play tonight you’re going to want to leverage with the Milwaukee Brewers. They rank highly in both the DraftKings and FanDuel Study Hubs. I know they aren’t the offensive powerhouse we like to play but if Bubic ends up being highly owned it’ll be a good way to get off the chalk.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
