MLB DFS has a 12-game main slate on DraftKings, and FanDuel.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Scherzer is SP1 on DraftKings for me tonight. He is the highest-rated and second-highest scoring projected pitcher in the Team Rise or Fall MLB Study Hub. Mad Max comes into this game with a 3-2 record in 8 starts on the season. His 34.3% K-rate is the highest on the main slate and when combined with his slate leading 21.2% soft contact rate, he’s my DraftKings pitcher lock.
We’re staying in Washington and going with the Nationals as the preferred stack on DraftKings. In the first iteration of the MLB Study Hub, we see that they’re the rank as the top stack on DraftKings and will have the 5th most ownership. They face Jake Arrieta tonight who is just a shell of what he once was. I don’t fear Arrieta’s 18.6% K-rate. The Nationals have the second-highest implied team total on the slate, fire them up.
Morton faces the ice-cold New York Mets tonight. He carries the highest pitcher rating in the MLB Study Hub, he is also the best value on the slate at his position. The $6,800 price tag vastly underprices what Morton can do and allows for you to pay up for some premium bats. In reviewing the MLB Study Hub, we can see his beautiful 29.2% K-rate.
We’re headed north and going with the Toronto Blue Jays as my FanDuel stack of the day. They are the second-ranked stack in the FanDuel portion of the MLB Study Hub while only having the 4th most ownership. Tonight, they go against the right-handed Garrett Richards who has been an innings eater for Boston this season. Over the last week Vlad, Semien, and Teoscar Hernandez have been on fire.
MLB DFS Lineup Winning Pick – St Louis Cardinals , CWS @ MIN, O/U 9
The Cards are what we want to look for in a stack tonight. They will be low-owned, 4th on DraftKings, and 9th on FanDuel. They have upside, when looking at the range of outcomes on the MLB Study Hub, and are outside of the top 3 ranked stacks. They face Trevor Cahill tonight who isn’t a world-beater, serviceable but not great. I’m looking primarily at the right-handed bats in the lineup.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
