Top 5 MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings and FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks

DraftKings MLB DFS Picks (Pitcher) – Sandy Alcantara, MIA @ PHI, O/U 8

Alcantara is the top rated pitcher in the Team Rise or Fall MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. Sandy has started nine games this season and he’s allowed more than three earned runs just twice (four and eight runs). He averages a little over five strikeouts per game, and gives up just under two base on balls per game. I’m looking for Sandy to have a decent outing against an up and down Phillies offense.

DraftKings MLB DFS Picks (Stack) – Boston Red Sox, BOS @ TOR, O/U 9.5

The Red Sox come into today’s action as the second rated stack in our MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. We’re projecting them to be the fourth highest owned stack on an eight-game slate. It’s always a good look to grab an offense with high upside that the rest of the field is sleeping on or looking past.

FanDuel MLB DFS Picks (Pitcher) – Drew Smyly, ATL vs PIT, O/U 9

Smyly is the top rated pitcher in our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. Smyly has a 25.9% strikeout rate and a 10.2% base on balls rate. Drew and the Braves take on a struggling Pirates squad that’s lost three straight games. Pittsburgh also has the second worst run differential in all of MLB. Vegas is projecting a nine run total so I’m expecting Atlanta to do the majority of the scoring.

FanDuel MLB DFS Picks (Stack) – Toronto Blue Jays, TOR vs BOS O/U 9.5

The Blue Jays are the top rated stack in our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. We’re projecting them to be the second highest owned stack on the slate. Toronto has a +40 run differential and the Red Sox have a +41 run differential. They can’t blow each other out in the same game, but one of the two teams should put up a lot of runs.

MLB DFS Picks Top Stack – Los Angeles Dodgers, LAD vs ARI, O/U 8.5

The Dodgers rank as the fourth best stack for DraftKings and FanDuel in our MLB DFS Study Hub. We’re expecting them to be the second highest owned stack on DK and the fourth highest owned stack on FD. If this holds then I prefer LA on FanDuel. The Dodgers averaged 6.2 runs per game over their last 10 games, and 7.4 runs in their last eight wins. Tonight’s the night for them to hang a big number on the Diamondbacks.
