MLB DFS has a six-game main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel, and an eight-game slate on SuperDraft. The main slate for DraftKings and FanDuel begins at 7:15 PM EST/4:15 PM PST. The main slate for SuperDraft begins at 3:10 PM EST/12:10 PM PST.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Buehler is the top rated pitcher in the Team Rise or Fall MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. He comes into today’s action with a 28.6% strikeout rate and a 6% base on balls rate. The Giants are tied with the San Diego Padres for the best record in MLB. Both teams are a half game ahead of the Boston Red Sox, and a full game ahead of the Dodgers and Chicago White Sox. It won’t necessarily be easy for Buehler but he should do well tonight.
My stack picks today are simple: I’m attacking losers. No, I’m not hopping on social media and bullying people. That’s tomorrow. Today, I’m targeting teams that are in the midst of three or more game losing streaks.
The Blue Jays are losers of three straight games and I’m banking on that continuing tonight. On the flipside the Rays have won eight games in a row so it’s the best of both worlds. As far as the stack I like grabbing five Tampa players against Robbie Ray. He’s a decent pitcher but sometimes a team is playing so well that it doesn’t matter who’s on the hill.
Buehler is the top rated pitcher in our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. He’s the stud of the day and other than his price, I don’t see any reason to look elsewhere. Buehler carries a 10.5k salary on FD and an 11k salary on DraftKings. It doesn’t concern me too much because there’s always good value on a baseball slate.
The Padres have won seven consecutive games while the Mariners have dropped four straight. It’s the best of both worlds again. San Diego is averaging 7.3 runs during their win streak. They’ve scored less than five runs two out of the seven games. I’m not expecting them to cross home plate 16 times like they did last night, but a 9-2 victory is definitely in the cards.
MLB DFS Picks Top Stack – Boston Red Sox, BOS @ PHI, O/U 9
Eagsixcards likes the Boston Red Sox today. Surprise, surprise. Sticking with the theme of picking on teams that are down bad right now leads me to the BoSox. Again.
Boston has won three straight games while Philadelphia has lost three straight. The Red Sox are averaging 5.5 runs per game in their last 10 games, and 8.7 runs per game in their last three games. I’m looking for their bats to stay hot as they beat up on the average (but currently struggling) Phillies.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
