MLB DFS has a 9-game main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel.
These are the morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Glasnow comes into tonight as the highest-rated pitcher in the MLB Study Hub. He’ll benefit from facing off against a subpar Royals offense. He has a 4-2 record in 10 starts with a 2.90 ERA. His K-rate of 33.01% is the highest on the slate.
The MLB Study Hub loves the Indians tonight as the highest project stack on the slate. They’ll face right-handed pitcher Jose Urena. Urena is not a strikeout guy, he sports a low 16.46% K-rate. Urena struggles against lefties in reviewing his splits. I’m looking specifically at Indians left handed batters to start my stacks.
Stroman is at home going against the Rockies tonight. I like him tonight as leverage against some of the higher owner pitchers (I’m talking about Bauer and Glasnow). It has been a common theme to pick on the Rockies away from Coors as they’ve struggled offensively. Sto isn’t a high strikeout guy but when you factor in the ineptness of the Rockies offense and Stroman’s salary savings he makes for a good play.
We’re going to the Big Apple, for the top-ranked stack in the FanDuel MLB Study Hub. They should carry some ownership because, you know, they’re the Yankees. As of this morning they’ll be facing relatively unknown Alek Manoah. I couldn’t find a whole lot of info the the right handed pitcher but in three starts in AAA ball he struck out 10, 5, and 12 batters while going 6 innings in each start. I’m going to trust the Study Hub and have some shares of Yankee stacks.
MLB DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Cincinnati Reds, CIN vs WSH, O/U 10
The Reds are my tournament stack of the night. They are the type of stack our fearless leader, @DFSnDonuts, has been preaching on in our Twitch streams. A team outside of the top three stacks which will leverage ownership. We also know that they have scoring upside as they’ve been able to put up runs this season. They’ll face Nationals starter Joe Ross. Ross gives up power and contact to both sides of the plate so be creative with your Reds stacks.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
