MLB DFS has a 10-game main slate on DraftKings, and FanDuel. The main slate begins at 7:05 PM EST/4:05 PM PST on DraftKings and FanDuel.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Tyler Glasnow is the third highest rated pitcher, and projected to be the highest owned pitcher in the Team Rise or Fall MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. He comes into today with a 32.4% strike out rate and a 9.5% base on balls rate.
The Marlins avoided the sweep by winning their last game against the Astros. The Rays will lean on Glasnow to build up a new winning streak.
The Giants grade out as the second best stack and the most owned stack in our MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. They’re facing the Rockies in Coors where we know runs are scored in bunches.
While I like all of the Giants’ bats today, I’ll be trying to squeeze in the lefties of the order – Belt, Dickerson, and Tachman.
Maedais the highest rated in our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. We’re currently projecting him to be the highest owned pitcher on FanDuel. Our model shows he has a greater than 60% chance of getting the win today.
Maeda strikes out 28.6% of the hitters he faces while giving up walks 7.4% of the time. Maeda will looks to lead the Twins to another victory as they have won three of their last four.
The Sox are the highest rated stack in our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel, but the second highest owned stack on the slate. They’re also playing in a hitter friendly stadium with the winds blowing from left to right.
It looks like this may be a bullpen game for the Royals so I’m not shying away from either lefties or righties on the Indians.
MLB DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Los Angeles Dodgers, LAD @ CHC, O/U 8.5
The Dodgers are the second rated stack for FanDuel and fifth rated stack for DraftKings in the Team Rise or Fall MLB DFS Study Hubs. There is a chance of rain in Chicago so I would imagine it scares off some ownership of Dodger bats.
Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks has been shellacked in two of his last three outings, has me wanting to make sure I’m heavily exposed to the Dodgers especially with people wanting to fade the weather.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
