MLB DFS has a eight-game main slate on DraftKings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft. The main slate begins at 1:05 PM EST/10:05 AM PST.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Cole is the highest rated pitcher in the Team Rise or Fall MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. We’re projecting him to be the highest scoring pitcher as well as the highest owned pitcher on the slate.
Cole strikes out 37% of the batters he faces while walking just 7%. That’s a recipe for success and the main reasons while he’ll be leading my lineups.
The Rangers rate as the second best stack while coming in as the 8th highest owned stack in our MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. Vegas is projecting Texas for 3.7 runs. This totally contradicts what I have to say about Vegas in the Zack Wheeler section, but also gives us a slight edge if the field is blindly riding the lines from the desert.
Any game with an implied total below seven means we need to really take a look at the pitchers involved. Las Vegas oddsmakers aren’t perfect, but they’re definitely a good guide when playing DFS.
Wheeler is the highest rated pitcher in our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. He strikes out just 23% of the hitters he faces and walks about seven percent of batters. I’m expecting a shutdown performance from him today.
The Blue Jays rank as the top stack in our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. We’re projecting them to be the second highest owned stack on the slate, trailing only the Atlanta Braves.
I’m a sucker for a highly projected road offense. I love getting the guaranteed 9th inning at bats. Toronto fits that category, and they’re averaging 6.5 runs per game over their last six games. That works for me.
MLB DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Toronto Blue Jays, TOR @ OAK O/U 8.5
The Blue Jays are the top ranked stack for both DraftKings and FanDuel in our MLB DFS Study Hubs. We’re not projecting them to be the highest owned stack on either site so that sounds great to me. We get a highly projected stack that is second or third on the field’s list of teams to stack. Let’s leverage that into a big day.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
