MLB DFS has a seven-game main slate on DraftKings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft. The main slate begins at 7:05 PM EST/4:05 PM PST.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Lynn is the highest rated pitcher in the Team Rise or Fall MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. He taking on a Kansas City squad that’s lost six consecutive games. Let’s go ahead and run that up to seven games tonight.
Lance strikes out about 26% of the batters he faces while walking 8% of hitters. The Royals don’t strike out a lot compared to the majority of the league (7th lowest strike out rate), but I do believe they’ll be shutdown tonight.
The Sox aren’t quite an all or nothing team but lately they’ve been really close to being just that. Chicago is 5-3 over their last eight games. They’ve scored and average of one run in the three losses, and an average of 6.6 runs in their wins. Since I like Lance Lynn to win today, that means the team has to score 6+ runs tonight, right? I think that’s how this works.
Chicago should be rolling out a right-handed heavy lineup against KC’s Daniel Lynch. Adam Eaton is generally bad against lefties so I wouldn’t have him in a lot of my White Sox stacks.
Anderson grades as the second highest rated pitcher in our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. He has the highest strike out rate on the slate at nearly 30%. That’s a great combination and a really good place to start building your lineups.
The Phillies have the second highest strike out rate in all of MLB at 27.9%. Anderson should be able to rack up the Ks even though Vegas sees some decent scoring happening in this game.
I was big on Red Sox stacks a couple of times last week and we didn’t get the payoff we were looking for. All the signs were pointing to their bats waking up and it finally happened.
Boston is 3-3 over their last six games. They scored an average of 4.7 runs in the losses and an average of 9.7 runs in the victories. The Red Sox have also scored three runs or less one time over that stretch. I’m fully expecting a lot of scoring from Boston tonight. (Two runs incoming)
MLB DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Chicago White Sox, CWS @ KC, O/U 9
The White Sox rank as the top stacking option for DraftKings and FanDuel in our MLB DFS Study Hubs. If you trust in Team Rise or Fall then it’s really easy to like the Southsiders today. Like I mentioned above, Chicago has been scoring a lot of runs in their victories. That’s going to continue tonight when they put it on the Royals.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
