Top 5 MLB DFS Picks: DraftKings and FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks

DraftKings MLB DFS Picks (Pitcher) – Jacob deGrom, NYM vs CHC, O/U 6.5

deGrom is the cream of the crop when it comes to pitchers tonight. I don’t know how much analysis needs to be given about this workhorse. He is projected as the highest-rated and highest projected pitcher on the slate. He comes into tonight’s game with a 32.9% strikeout rate and a 5.7% walk rate. He’ll face off against the Cubs who have an implied run total of 2.37 runs. Lock him in and move on.

DraftKings MLB DFS Picks (Stack) – Minnesota Twins, MIN @ SEA, O/U 8.5

The Twins are my preferred stack over on DraftKings. They come in as the second highest-rated stack in the MLB Study Hub while having the 4th highest ownership. Minnesota has an implied run total of 4.44 runs. They’ll face off against left-hander Justus Sheffield who is a natural splits pitcher giving up power and contact to righties.

FanDuel MLB DFS Picks (Pitcher) – Anthony DeSclafani, SF vs ARZ, O/U 8

If you’re not going to be paying up for Gerrit Cole or Jacob deGrom you’re going to want to pay down at pitcher to load up on some big bat stacks. If this is your plan of attack on this slate I’d be looking at Anthony DeSclafani. DeSclafani is coming off a complete-game shutout and has been surprising this season for the Giants. He has a 22.4% strikeout rate and a 7.1% walk rate coming into tonight’s game against Arizona.

FanDuel MLB DFS Picks (Stack) – New York Mets, NYM vs CHC, O/U 6.5

The Mets appear as if they’ll be under-owned tonight according to the MLB Study Hub. The Cubs have not named a starter for tonight’s game to go opposite Jacob deGrom. They are the 5th rated stack on the MLB Study Hub. We saw last week that they have the capability to explode and put runs on the board. A lot will depend on who the Cubs put on the mound tonight.

MLB DFS Picks Top Stack – Atlanta Braves, ATL vs BOS, O/U 9.5

The Braves rank as the top stack in the FanDuel and the third-best stack on the DraftKings MLB Study Hub. They will carry ownership tonight because of the matchup. The teams put up a total of 18 runs last night and I don’t see that changing tonight. If you roll out the Braves as your main stack look to get contrarian with your secondary stack and pitcher.
