MLB DFS has an eight-game main slate on DraftKings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft. The main slate begins at 7:07 PM EST/4:07 PM PST on DraftKings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Ohtani is the 2nd highest rated pitcher in the Team Rise or Fall MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. The Tigers have won three straight games and the Angels have lost three straight games, a couple of streaks that would ordinarily land me on Detroit. But I’m looking for Ohtani to overpower the Tigers today and get the LAA back on the winning track. Ohtani has a 29.1% strikeout rate and walks about 10.2% of the batters he faces. I think he racks up the Ks on the way to an Angel’s victory.
The Vegas oddsmakers believe this game is going to have a ton of scoring and I have no reason to doubt them. The Blue Jays are the 3rd rated offense in our MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. We’re projecting them to be the 5th highest owned team on the slate. A lot of other contestants will flock to this game for stacks since there’s such a high total. Get creative with your stacks and skyrocket to the top.
Musgrove is the highest rated pitcher in our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. Joe sports a 22.8% strikeout rate and a 5.7% base on balls rate. Cincinnati comes into the game red hot (forgive me) with a six-game win streak. Musgrove gets to play the role of the Vegas blackjack cooler as the Padres turn to him for a big game. San Diego has lost three straight games but Musgrove ends that streak for them tonight.
The Braves, losers of two straight games, take on the suddenly streaking St. Louis Cardinals. Vegas projects 5.5 runs for Atlanta tonight while expecting STL to score 4 runs. Our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel ranks the Braves as the 3rd best offense while projecting them to be the 4th highest owned team on the slate. That’s always a solid combination when looking where to begin our stacks.
MLB DFS Picks Top Stack – New York Yankees, NYY @ TOR, O/U 10.5
The Yankees are the 2nd ranked offense on DraftKings and the 1st ranked offense on FanDuel in our MLB DFS Study Hubs. We’re projecting the Bronx Bombers to be the 9th highest owned team on DraftKings (Due to salary), and the 3rd highest owned team on FanDuel. I like the Yankees more on DraftKings if you can make everything fit your salaries. You still want a team that makes sense so simply jamming in a bunch of value with your expensive stack is a bad idea to me. Either way, a 10.5 run total means I want to have exposure to both sides in this game.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
