MLB DFS has an seven-game main slate on DraftKings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft. The main slate begins at 7:15 PM EST/4:15 PM PST on DraftKings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
The Team Rise or Fall MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings ranks Gilbert as the top rated pitcher on the main slate today. He’s averaged 28.68 DK points in his five appearances this season. He’ll face a Rays squad that’s lost four straight games, and two consecutive games to the Mariners.
Our MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings ranks the Dodgers as the 2nd best offense on the slate. We’re projecting them to be the 3rd highest owned stack on DK. Arizona has lost 15 straight games and I fully expect that to go to 16 straight after tonight’s game. The Diamondbacks have allowed an average of 8 runs per game during their last six games. It could be a huge night for the boys in blue.
I targeted the Tigers in this spot yesterday and I’ll be targeting them again today thanks to our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. The Hub rates Sandoval as the top pitcher on today’s slate. He has a 22.9% strikeout rate, and a 9.5% base on balls rate. The Tigers lead the league in strikeout rate as I mentioned here yesterday. Let’s take advantage of that with the Angels’ lefty.
The Braves are the 2nd ranked offense while being projected as the 6th highest owned team in our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. They’ve averaged 6.2 runs per game over their last six games, including a nine-run outburst yesterday against the Cardinals. I think Atlanta scores in the six to nine run range again tonight. That’s going to be great as the other contestants are focused on different stacks.
MLB DFS Picks Top Stack – Los Angeles Angels, LAA vs DET, O/U
The Angels rank as the 1st offense on DK, and the 3rd offense on FD in our MLB DFS Study Hub rankings for both sites. We’re projecting the LAA to be the 4th highest owned stack on DraftKings, and the 3rd highest owned stack on FanDuel. Let the field chase the other teams, I’ll be stacking Angels. They’re averaging 6.8 runs over their last six games. I’m looking for the offense to continue against the Tigers tonight.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
