MLB DFS has an 10-game main slate on DraftKings and FanDuel, and a 14-game main slate on SuperDraft. The main slate begins at 1:05 PM EST/10:05 AM PST.
These are the early morning Top 5 MLB DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the MLB DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall MLB DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Cease is the 2nd highest rated pitcher in the Team Rise or Fall MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. He has a 30.8% strikeout rate and an 8.8% base on balls rate. The strikeout rate should be huge today as the Tigers lead all of MLB in batters strikeout rate at 27.9%.
The Orioles have a few of the factors I’m looking for when selecting a stack. The Orioles are the 3rd rated stack in our MLB DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. The Hub is projecting them to be the 8th highest owned stack on a slate with 20 teams. A nine run implied game total isn’t unusual but the weather conditions look great for a high scoring game.
Burnes is the 3rd rated pitcher in our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel. He’s pricey today at 11K but I like his matchup. The Diamondbacks have the worst record in MLB and they’re on a four-game losing streak. Burnes should come out and add to their misery today.
The Brewers have an implied run total of five today. That ties them for the third highest on the slate. Our MLB DFS Study Hub for FanDuel projects the Brewers as the 3rd best stack while carrying the 7th most ownership. I mentioned earlier that the Diamondbacks currently have the worst record in baseball. I’m looking for the Brewers to take advantage of that with a high scoring afternoon.
MLB DFS Picks Top Stack – Cleveland Indians, CLE @ BAL, O/U 9
Cleveland is the 2nd highest rated stack for DraftKings and the highest rated stack for FanDuel in our MLB DFS Study Hub. We’re projecting them to be the 6th highest owned stack on DraftKings and the 5th highest stack on FanDuel. Cleveland won their last game so nothing major we can take from that. They’ve averaged 5.3 runs over their last six games and scored six or more runs in four of those games.
The MLB DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our MLB DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member the core players they would build their Cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These MLB DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their MLB DFS Lineups.
The MLB Strategy Notebook gives our staff a place to write notes specific to each slate for members to read regarding strategy for each slate. They will mention which stacks they are targeting, which players make more sense for GPP formats over Cash formats and other lineup building tidbits!
The MLB DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate-winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy baseball roster construction.
The MLB Stacks will display the top stacks of the day using the data from the MLB Study Hub! This will display what teams project the best, which will be higher owned, and a player-by-player breakdown to show which players could be going overlooked.
