NBA DFS has five games on DraftKings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft. These are the early morning Top 5 NBA DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the NBA DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall NBA DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Top 5 NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks
DraftKings NBA DFS Target – Chris Paul, PG, PHO @ MEM O/U 225.5
CP3 is averaging 47 DraftKings points per game over his last three games in the Team Rise or Fall NBA Study Hub fantasy point trends section. He’s also averaging 42 DK points in his last three games against the Grizz.
We should be excited anytime we can get a player that handles the ball as much as Paul playing in a game with a 225.5 implied total.
DraftKings NBA DFS Target – Russell Westbrook, PG, WAS @ POR O/U 242
Westbrook is the third highest rated player on the DK slate in the TROF NBA Study Hub. He’s averaging 50.75 DK points in his last three games, and he’s dropped an average of 51 DK points in his last three outings against Portland.
The Rise or Fall Usage Trends tab shows Russ with a 31.14 usage rate over his last three games. So we get Westbrook with the ball in his hands a lot in a game with a 242 implied total. This is a setup for a classic Russell Westbrook game.
FanDuel NBA DFS Target – LeBron James, SF, LAL vs. MIA O/U 208
LeBron is the highest rated player in the Team Rise or Fall NBA Study Hub for FanDuel with a 119.37 rating. He’s averaged 50 FD points in his last five and three games and I see no reason he doesn’t score at least 50 fantasy points tonight.
The Lakers come into tonight’s NBA Finals rematch with Miami off of an embarrassing loss to the Brooklyn Nets. LeBron is carrying a bigger load with Anthony Davis sidelined, and I’m looking for him to have a big game as he tries to get the Lakers back on a winning track.
FanDuel NBA DFS Target – Damian Lillard, PG, POR vs. WAS O/U 242
When I see a game with an implied total as high as today’s Portland-Washington tilt I’m gonna be sure to roster a few of the guys from the game. Of course we want the big name players, but such a high total puts some of the fringe players in play as well. With that said….
Dame Dolla has dropped an average of 61 FanDuel points over his last three games according to the Team Rise or Fall Fantasy Points Trends tab. He’s averaging 44 FD points against the Wiz in his last three games against them. I’d be shocked if he didn’t surpass that average tonight. And we get the bad blood between Dame and Westbrook as an added bonus. Who’s gonna rock the baby tonight?
NBA DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Russell Westbrook, PG, WAS @ POR O/U 242
I wrote about Russ above and I’m running it back here. I really believe Westbrook is in a smash spot because of his recent form, the high implied total, and his desire to crush Damian Lillard.
I’m not a big narrative guy so even if we don’t consider the Westbrook-Lillard drama we’re still looking at a guy that’s the third highest rated player in our NBA Study Hub that’s also projected for 47 fantasy points. Fire up Russ tonight and enjoy the show.
