Top 5 NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks
DraftKings NBA DFS Target – De’Aaron Fox, PG, SAC vs CHA O/U 237.5
Fox is the highest-rated player in the Team Rise or Fall NBA Study Hub for DraftKings with a 110.52 rating. He’s averaging 47 DK points over his last three games, and has dropped an average of 37 DK points on Charlotte in their last three matchups.
The 237.5 implied game total tells us Vegas thinks this game will be a shootout. I’m always going to target guys in high total games that handle the ball a lot. De’Aaron has a 29.58 usage rate over his last three games. If Haliburton is out tonight that could increase.
DraftKings NBA DFS Target – Julius Randle, PF/C, NYK @ DET O/U 212
The implied game total of 212 points is ugly, but I trust Randle to do his thing even if everyone isn’t expected to do a lot. Randle is averaging 36 DK points over his last three games against the Pistons. But some of that is before he became what he’s been lately (Point-Randle).
I remember Knicks fans early in the season complaining about Julius turning the ball over anytime he entered the paint. He’s gotten things under control which has led to him averaging 52 DK points over his last three games.
FanDuel NBA DFS Target – Russell Westbrook, PG, WAS @ BOS O/U 231
Westbrook has been on a tear of late and I’m looking for that to continue against the Celtics. Westy has dropped 55, 47, 52, 60, and 53 FD points over his last five games. He’s averaging 50.2 FanDuel points over his last three games. Just putting up big numbers on a nightly basis.
Westbrook is the highest rated player in our NBA Study Hub for FanDuel with a 119.11 rating. I think that’s a great sign of what’s to come tonight.
FanDuel NBA DFS Target – LaMelo Ball, PG, CHA @ SAC O/U 237.5
LaMelo has first half of the season bragging rights at the Ball family BBQ. He’s out played Lonzo for most of the season, and has been a great draft pick by Charlotte so far.
Melo is averaging 40 FD points over his last three games. He doesn’t have a history against the Kings yet, but a game with a 237.5 implied total means he’ll have plenty of opportunity to put up points tonight.
NBA DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Bradley Beal, SG, WAS @ BOS O/U 231
Beal is the 4th highest rated player for DraftKings and the 3rd highest rated player for FanDuel in the Team Rise or Fall NBA Study Hub. Him and running mate Russell Westbrook do most of the scoring for the Wiz (In all aspects) so Beal always deserves consideration.
He’s averaging 50 DK points and 47 FD points over his last three games. Those trends should continue as I’m expecting him to light up the Celtics tonight.
