A large slate with the Nets on it and still no Kevin Durant. I want a piece of James Harden. The Beard is the highest-rated and highest projected scorer in the NBA Study Hub. On a site like DraftKings which gives bonuses for 3 pointers made, double-doubles, and triple-doubles I want all I can get of him. We can see in the “FP Trends” and “Minutes Trends” that his last five games have been video game-like. He’s scoring 66.65 DraftKings points while playing 40.11 minutes in his last five games – just insane.
I may be aging myself here but as the former ESPN anchor Dan Patrick used to say, “You can’t stop him, you can only hope to contain him.”
DraftKings NBA DFS Target – Domantas Sabonis, PF/C, IND vs BKN O/U 233.5
If you’ve followed NBA this season we know the Nets are a very good team but they rely on outscoring you, not by shutting people down. They especially struggle against bigs (Power Forwards and Centers).
This is why I’m liking Domantas Sabonis.He hit triple-doubles in two of his last four games, and in the two games, he didn’t get the triple-double he missed them by one rebound and two assists. I know the signing of Blake Griffin has given them some hope of bolstering the weak frontline but he’s a shell of himself that should allow Sabonis to feast tonight.
FanDuel NBA DFS Target – Caris LeVert, SG, IND vs BKN O/U 233.5
Another Indiana Pacer? You bet your bottom dollar! Caris LeVert gets to face the team that traded him away. He’ll be chalk on FanDuel and for good reason, he’s only $4,400. People will want to flock to him because of the salary and for the ‘revenge’ narrative.
It’ll be the first time he faces the Nets since they traded him away. Some people in the Team Rise or Fall discord pointed this out but as our NBA cash game Guru SCrosby pointed out, this trade may have saved his life since his cancer wasn’t detected until his Pacer’s physical which happened following the trade.
FanDuel NBA DFS Target – Ben Simmons, PG, PHI vs MIL O/U 234
The NBA Study Hub is digging Ben Simmons tonight. The numbers show that when center Joel Embiid misses usage for Ben Simmons skyrockets. A few areas of the Study Hub that make him stand out are his rating (highest) and projection (4th highest) while saving valuable salary, as he’s priced at $7,900 on FanDuel. In the first iteration of the NBA Study Hub, we can see he has the best chance to hit value as his “Rise” percentage is the best among the elite at the position.
NBA DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Steph Curry, PG, GSW @ HOU O/U 228
Steph Curry? Yes, Steph Curry. We haven’t had a Steph explosion game in some time, but I have a gut feeling that it can be tonight. It’s not the highest implied total on the slate (228) but it is a pace-up game for the Dubs who get the Rockets on the second night of a back-to-back.
Houston allows opponents to shoot 37.5% from the three-point line which is the 7th worst in the league. While the Warriors make 39.3% of the threes they take. I’d say they are in a great spot tonight.
While this isn’t the same Warriors/Rockets rivalry of the year’s passed it should be a good opportunity to roster Steph in tournaments.
