NBA DFS has a six game slate on DraftKings and FanDuel, and a five game slate on SuperDraft. These are the early morning Top 5 NBA DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the NBA DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall NBA DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Top 5 NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks
DraftKings NBA DFS Target – Russell Westbrook, PG, WAS vs UTA O/U 235.5
Westbrook is the highest rated player in the Team Rise or Fall NBA DFS Study Hub for DraftKings. He’s averaging 67.4 DK points over his last three games. He’s also lit the Utah Jazz up for 53 DK points in their last three meetings. Russ is playing out of his mind right now. I’m looking for that to continue tonight.
DraftKings NBA DFS Target – Devin Booker, SG, PHX vs MIN O/U 231
Booker and the Suns are flying under the radar with the second best winning percentage in the entire NBA. The addition of Chris Paul gets a lot of credit for the Suns’ improvement but some of that credit belongs to DB.
Booker is averaging 42 DK points over his last three games, and 56 DK points in his last three games against Minnesota. The only thing that stops Booker from having a big night is a blowout. I don’t have a blowout happening in this game tonight. (In before someone in this game loses by 30.)
FanDuel NBA DFS Target – Julius Randle, PF, NYK vs ORL O/U 206.5
I’m not gonna lie to you. The 206.5 game total worries me a little. I’m not letting that stop me from rostering Randle because he can do so many different things. He’ll be responsible for most of the scoring (Scoring himself or assists), and a good number of rebounds. I think it’s possible for him to get his while the game score stays low.
FanDuel NBA DFS Target – LeBron James, SF, LAL vs CHA O/U 224.5
I like LeBron a lot tonight but the blowout threat is real. The Hornets started their West Coast swing with a 25-point loss in Denver. James and the Lakers could easily do the same thing to the Hornets.
If the game stays close into the fourth quarter I think we see LeBron pick up another triple double. Those things are all the rage right now. Lebron is averaging 46 FD points over his last three games while playing 32 minutes per game over that same stretch.
NBA DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Russell Westbrook, PG, WAS vs UTA O/U 235.5
There’s not a lot more I can say about Westbrook tonight. I’m drowning in recency bias because Russ has been on fire and I want to ride the hot streak. The Jazz do sport the league’s best record but Westbrook can put up crazy numbers even in a loss.
