Top 5 NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks
DraftKings NBA DFS Target – Luka Doncic, PG, DAL @ OKC O/U 218.5
Luka Doncic is back tonight after a five-day absence missing two games that the Mavericks lost. This looks to be a nice bounce-back spot against a young Thunder team that plays at a fast pace. The Vegas total isn’t great at only 221 and the Mavs are a pretty big favorite at -11, but I still like Luka in this spot. It is a pace-up spot for Luka as the Thunder play at the 12 fastest pace in the league while the Mavericks hover around 24th.
Over his last 10 games, Luka is averaging 1.54 DraftKings points per minute while averaging about 35 minutes per game which puts him on pace for around 54 DraftKings points. This puts him on pace to hit 5x his NBA DFS salary.
DraftKings NBA DFS Target – Karl-Anthony Town, C, MIN @ BKN O/U 241
Karl-Anthony Towns against a team that struggles against big men? Yes, please. It’s been hammered by Team Rise or Fall members constantly this season – Brooklyn is bad against talented big men so target them. Over his last 5 games, KAT is averaging 27 points, 11 boards, and four assists while playing more than 35 minutes per game in that timeframe. He should carry ownership because of industry knowledge of how bad Brooklyn is against the frontcourt. No, LaMarcus Aldridge is not going to stop KAT.
FanDuel NBA DFS Target – Bradley Beal, SG, WAS vs IND O/U 233.5
Bradley Beal’s price just keeps dropping over on FanDuel. He’s down at $8,800 while earlier this month we were paying over $10k for the Wizards shooting guard. He is the highest-rated shooting guard in the NBA Study Hub by far, while having the best “Rise” percentage as well. He has been dealing with lower-body issues over the last week or so, but at this price and the upside he provides, I can’t see myself fading him in my GPP lineups.
FanDuel NBA DFS Target – Moses Brown, C, OKC vs DAL O/U 218.5
If you want to get a little different on FanDuel you can look at the one they call Moses – Moses Brown. The rookie has seen a $1k price increase but his role as the Thunder’s starting center is all but locked in. The Thunder have come out publicly said that veteran Al Horford will be inactive for the rest of the season allowing for more playing time for these Thunder’s younger players. Brown provides a $3,500 savings over Karl-Anthony Towns. Over Brown’s last 3 games he’s seen an uptick in minutes to 32.52 per game while scoring 42.8 FanDuel points in that time.
NBA DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Zion Williamson, PF/C, NO @ BOS O/U 230.5
My tournament call of the day will go to Zion Williamson. He’s finally being more assertive in the offense over his last two games shooting the ball 19 and 20 times respectively. Over his last three games, he’s played a tad over 34 minutes while averaging a whopping 53.6 FanDuel / 54.66 DraftKings points. He’s such a physical specimen that makes him a tough matchup for anyone in the league and I don’t see anyone on Boston that is going to stop him.
