NBA DFS is a 10-game slate on DraftKings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft. These are the early morning Top 5 NBA DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the NBA DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall NBA DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
James Harden is the most expensive player on the slate. Initially, this may sway you away from Harden but in looking at the totality of the slate we can see that there are going to be oodles of value to be found that will allow you to play multiple studs.
I don’t know if you’re into narratives, but they seem to be real at times, and with this the first meeting between Harden and his former team. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Harden playing with a chip on his shoulder (no not a potato chip – bad dad joke).
He’s the third highest-rated and highest-projected scorer in our NBA Study Hub and if I had to guess he’s going to garner tons of ownership in a great spot.
Speaking of value, the Raptors are going to be without Pascal Siakam, OG Anunoby, and Fred Van Vleet tonight. This should open up some tremendous value for the team and bump the usage of already established players, such as Kyle Lowry.
Lowry is the highest-rated point guard in the first iteration of the NBA Study Hub. He will be one of the key players in soaking up the large amount of usage left behind from Siakam and Van Vleet. The NBA Study Hub also shows him as being an elite value for the potential role he’ll see with the Raptors’ key pieces missing.
The rookie sensation has been ‘Ball”ing lately (Thank you, I’ll be here all week). The point guard position on FanDuel is swamped with great options but Ball is the one I like the most. Though he isn’t projected as the highest scoring, that honor goes to Dame Lillard, he projects with 10 points of Lillard for $1500 less.
Vegas thinks this one is going to be a shootout with an implied total of 232.5 with this being a pace-up opportunity for the Hornets. In looking at his last three games we can see LaMelo is averaging 49.13 FanDuel points which would put him on track for 5.5x his NBA DFS salary.
I want another piece of the Raptors on FanDuel, Norman Powell. Small forward is typically a tough position on FanDuel and you can certainly make the argument to pay up for LeBron James or Brandon Ingram. However, the opportunity that Powell has, and the salary savings make him a near-lock for me given his situation.
My tournament play of the night goes to Karl-Anthony Towns. He’s played well since his return from COVID. In his last three games against the Hornets, he’s averaging 60.93 FanDuel / 61.58 DraftKings points. Cody Zeller is questionable for tonight, but I don’t think he is/was going to stop KAT even if he was active.
In KAT’s last five games he scoring 48.88 FanDuel points / 50.7 DraftKings points while playing nearly 33 minutes and having usage of over 30%.

The NBA DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our NBA DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member identifies the core players they would build their cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These NBA DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their NBA DFS Lineups.
The NBA DFS GPP Pivots is for those chasing glory in DFS tournaments on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The goal here for our staff is to identify a GPP pivot, often a price point pivot away from a chalky player, that could potentially break the slate and win you a tournament. Have you ever seen the guy that is lower-owned and went nuclear in tournaments and you think to yourself, “I should have pivoted to him?”. Our goal is to identify those GPP Pivots.
The NBA DFS Picks Rankings will be a staple to your daily fantasy basketball research. This list of players is compiled by a staff member while they are making a player pool for DraftKings and FanDuel. These players then get ranked in the form of Tiered Rankings, which you often see in Fantasy Basketball or Fantasy Football. These Tiered Rankings will help you identify the value in both NBA DFS Cash Games and NBA DFS GPP’s as it shows you who they value more at each position than other players.
The NBA DFS Picks and Pools for Cash Games is clutch for anybody who wants to play those on either FanDuel or DraftKings. These are identified in the Tiered Rankings and player notes. This small list of players gives you a road map to putting together an NBA DFS Lineup each and every night.
The NBA DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy basketball roster construction.
In the NBA DFS Picks Rankings, there is a section for strategy and player notes. These are written up in the form of analysis for the player and best use of the player for DFS. In addition to the notes, being a part of the Rise or Fall Discord Chat is a fantastic way to discuss Draftkings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft with both members and staff. Everyone is in there picking each other’s brains all day long and enjoying DFS together.
