Be sure to dive into the NBA DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall NBA DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.

Top 5 NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks

DraftKings NBA DFS Target – Kevin Durant, PF, BKN @ MIN O/U 235

We have KD as the main piece of the Brooklyn offense with no Harden or Irving tonight. This play is not for the faint of heart, since returning from his hamstring injury Durant has played 18 and 23 minutes. He was effective in his time on the floor but we have to really dig in and see if Nets Coach Steve Nash is going to let Durant get an extended run. Durant is an elite scorer and can rack up the peripheral stats to go along with his scoring which always makes him an intriguing option.

DraftKings NBA DFS Target – Talen Horton-Tucker, SF, LAL @ NY O/U 205.5

THT has balled out in his opportunities this season. The second-year man has been better than 5x his NBA DFS salary over his last four games. We’ll have to watch injury news as the day progresses but as of now Kyle Kuzma and Wesley Matthews are currently questionable for the Lakers. If they sit, this should lead to more opportunities for THT. The Vegas total isn’t the most desirable on the slate but at his $5,300 salary on DraftKings, THT isn’t a bad salary saving option.

FanDuel NBA DFS Target – Andre Drummond, C, LAL @ NY O/U 205.5

We’re going right back to Los Angeles with big man Andre Drummond. He’s double-doubled in the last two games and I’m digging his spot tonight. The Knicks have been a competitive basketball team this season but I can see Drummond having his way on the boards against the likes of Mitchell Robinson and dusty Nerlens Noel. Drummond looks to have rebounded from his toe injury sustained in his first game as a Laker and as long as LeBron James and Anthony Davis are out, he’ll get his opportunity to shine.

FanDuel NBA DFS Target – Christian Wood, PF, HOU @ PHO

The Houston Rockets continue to be bit hard by the injury bug which means those healthy bodies that Houston has will see heavy minutes. This in turn is exactly why I like Christian Wood tonight. Over his last 5 games, Wood is playing an average of 34 minutes a game, scoring 20.2 points, grabbing 7 boards, dishing out 1.8 assists, and is good for a block or steal per game. It is a tough matchup with the Suns who have exceeded everyone’s expectations this season. If Houston wants to keep it competitive Wood is going to be relied on heavily.

NBA DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Russell Westbrook, PG, WAS @ UTA O/U 235

The walking triple-double himself, Russell Westbrook. I don’t know how much needs to be written about Westbrook that hasn’t already been written. What puts it over the top for me is his return to Utah. I know you’re scratching your head, thinking ‘what the hell is this guy talking about?’ Do you remember a few years back when the fans were screaming obscenities at Russ? The fan got kicked out of the game. Does that ring a bell? Westbrook doesn’t seem like a guy who forgets things and whenever he’s given an opportunity to shut someone up, he shuts them up. I encourage you to go back and look at his game log against Utah. Go ahead, I’ll wait.

NBA DFS Core Builds (Building Blocks)

The NBA DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our NBA DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member identifies the core players they would build their cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These NBA DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their NBA DFS Lineups.

NBA DFS GPP Pivots (Slate Breakers)

The NBA DFS GPP Pivots is for those chasing glory in DFS tournaments on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The goal here for our staff is to identify a GPP pivot, often a price point pivot away from a chalky player, that could potentially break the slate and win you a tournament. Have you ever seen the guy that is lower-owned and went nuclear in tournaments and you think to yourself, “I should have pivoted to him?”. Our goal is to identify those GPP Pivots.

NBA DFS Picks Rankings

The NBA DFS Picks Rankings will be a staple to your daily fantasy basketball research. This list of players is compiled by a staff member while they are making a player pool for DraftKings and FanDuel. These players then get ranked in the form of Tiered Rankings, which you often see in Fantasy Basketball or Fantasy Football. These Tiered Rankings will help you identify the value in both NBA DFS Cash Games and NBA DFS GPP’s as it shows you who they value more at each position than other players.

NBA DFS Picks and Pools (Cash Games)

The NBA DFS Picks and Pools for Cash Games is clutch for anybody who wants to play those on either FanDuel or DraftKings. These are identified in the Tiered Rankings and player notes. This small list of players gives you a road map to putting together an NBA DFS Lineup each and every night.

NBA DFS Picks and Pools (GPP Priority Picks)

The NBA DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy basketball roster construction.

NBA DFS Strategy and Player Notes

In the NBA DFS Picks Rankings, there is a section for strategy and player notes. These are written up in the form of analysis for the player and best use of the player for DFS. In addition to the notes, being a part of the Rise or Fall Discord Chat is a fantastic way to discuss Draftkings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft with both members and staff. Everyone is in there picking each other’s brains all day long and enjoying DFS together.
