NBA DFS has a four-game slate on DraftKings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft. These are the early morning Top 5 NBA DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the NBA DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall NBA DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
Top 5 NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks
DraftKings NBA DFS Target – Kyrie Irving, PG, BKN @ CHI, O/U 225.5
Kyrie gets a lot of flack (Some of it well deserved) for his off the court comments. On the court he’s a magician with the basketball. If only he could apply some of his on court wizardry to his off the court persona.
Anyways… Kyrie is averaging 52 DK points over his last three games. In his last three matchups with the Bulls, Kyrie has dropped an average of 54 DK points. This includes a 71 fantasy point game in their last meeting. I see him scoring in the 50 point range tonight and being worth his 10K salary.
DraftKings NBA DFS Target – Wendell Carter Jr., C, ORL @ DEN, O/U 215
Wendell got moved from the Bulls to the Magic at the trade deadline and so far, so good.
Carter is averaging 36.8 DK points over his last three games. He scored 40.5 DK points in his last game. He’s priced at 5.8K tonight so 6x puts him at 34.8 DK points. I think that is very possible tonight.
FanDuel NBA DFS Target – Clint Capela, C, ATL vs GS, O/U 225.5
Capela and the Hawks take on the struggling Warriors in a game with a 225.5 implied total. That’s a lot of shots going up, and probably a good number of them will be bricks.
He’s averaged 50 FD points over his last three games, and he’s averaging 46 FD points in his last three games against the Warriors. Golden State doesn’t have anyone that can matchup well with Capela. He should have his way with the rebounds. If he has a decent scoring night we should be looking at a big night for Clint.
FanDuel NBA DFS Target – Will Barton, SG, DEN vs ORL, O/U 215
Barton has been playing decently since returning to the team. He hasn’t been amazing and he hasn’t been terrible. Just decent.
Will is averaging 25 FD points over his last three games, and he’s averaging 32 FD points in his last three games against Orlando. The Magic have been rolling out some funky lineups since trading away Vucevic, Gordon, and Fournier. Barton should be able to take advantage tonight.
NBA DFS Lineup Winning Pick – Nikola Jokic, C, DEN vs ORL, O/U 215
Jokic is priced at 10.6K on DraftKings and 10.8K on FanDuel. I’d like Jokic on most slates, and even moreso when we only have four games available to us.
The Joker is having an MVP caliber season and there’s really no stats or info I can give that can convince you to roster him. You either already know how great he is or you shouldn’t be playing NBA DFS.
