NBA DFS has 11 games on DraftKings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft. These are the early morning Top 5 NBA DFS Picks for DraftKings and Fanduel. Be sure to dive into the NBA DFS Rankings, Cash Picks, and Player Pool or the GPP Picks and Player Pool afterward. And of course, the Rise or Fall NBA DFS Projections, ownerships, player ratings, and data are a good place to start for daily fantasy sports.
As the season winds down LaMelo Ball has shown the most potential of all the Ball brothers. He was considered by most to be a lock to win rookie of the year up until he broke his wrist and missed a good chunk of time. He has a chance to face off against Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves tonight in what could be a showdown of the top two candidates for the league’s top rookie award. This is a must-win game for Charlotte who currently owns the 8th seed in the Eastern Conference. Ball should see plenty of minutes and have his opportunity to excel.
On the opposite side of the court, we’ve seen Anthony Edwards’ salary hit his ceiling. Edwards, in some eyes, is the top dog in the rookie of the year race ever since Ball went down with his injury. Over Edwards’ last 10 games he’s averaging 35.42 minutes per game while scoring approximately 42 DraftKings points in that timeframe. I think he’ll go low-owned in this spot but I won’t pass up an opportunity to see him go head-to-head against his peer.
The Nets are still needing to win games to hold on to the #2 seed in the East. The Nets lead the Bucks by only one game (the Bucks face off against the Magic tonight). The Nets are still without James Harden which means the team will be carried by Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. I think both Irving and Durant are viable plays tonight, I just prefer Durant as he can do more than just score and adds the coveted peripherals (steals and blocks). This game has the second-highest implied total on the slate and from what we’ve seen with Harden off the court, we can expect to see Durant put up about 20 shots and play about 32 to 34 minutes.
The news of Jaylen Brown being out for the remainder of the season put Evan Fournier squarely in play for me tonight. He hasn’t been anything exciting, but Brown leaves such a void that will need to be filled. The Celtics didn’t give up a whole lot for Fournier but they brought him in with hopes he would complement their current squad. He’ll have a great opportunity moving forward. I also want to play him to help with salary savings.
Luka Doncic is my favorite tournament play tonight. I think he’ll be on the straight and narrow after being ejected in his last game against the Cavs and being only one technical away from a mandatory suspension. I know people will still be a Curry at this price point, but I think Luka is a direct price point pivot that will be at lower ownership. The Mavericks are currently sitting at the 5th seed in the Western Conference and need to keep winning as they are only half a game up over Portland.

The NBA DFS Core Builds are also referred to as our NBA DFS Building Blocks. Each staff member identifies the core players they would build their cash or GPP lineup around for both DraftKings and FanDuel. These NBA DFS Picks are basically the Building Blocks of their NBA DFS Lineups.
The NBA DFS GPP Pivots is for those chasing glory in DFS tournaments on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The goal here for our staff is to identify a GPP pivot, often a price point pivot away from a chalky player, that could potentially break the slate and win you a tournament. Have you ever seen the guy that is lower-owned and went nuclear in tournaments and you think to yourself, “I should have pivoted to him?”. Our goal is to identify those GPP Pivots.
The NBA DFS Picks Rankings will be a staple to your daily fantasy basketball research. This list of players is compiled by a staff member while they are making a player pool for DraftKings and FanDuel. These players then get ranked in the form of Tiered Rankings, which you often see in Fantasy Basketball or Fantasy Football. These Tiered Rankings will help you identify the value in both NBA DFS Cash Games and NBA DFS GPP’s as it shows you who they value more at each position than other players.
The NBA DFS Picks and Pools for Cash Games is clutch for anybody who wants to play those on either FanDuel or DraftKings. These are identified in the Tiered Rankings and player notes. This small list of players gives you a road map to putting together an NBA DFS Lineup each and every night.
The NBA DFS Picks and Pools for GPP’s is crucial for Single Entry players. This list of priority picks are players with slate winning upside each night. They aren’t just the top projected players, they are picks that take into consideration the Rise or Fall ownership projection, tournament leverage, and daily fantasy basketball roster construction.
In the NBA DFS Picks Rankings, there is a section for strategy and player notes. These are written up in the form of analysis for the player and best use of the player for DFS. In addition to the notes, being a part of the Rise or Fall Discord Chat is a fantastic way to discuss Draftkings, FanDuel, and SuperDraft with both members and staff. Everyone is in there picking each other’s brains all day long and enjoying DFS together.
