Darren Waller has been traded to the New York Giants! Waller has a current ADP of 98.2 in Underdog Fantasy Best Ball drafts, which could make him a potential steal in the later rounds of drafts.
Let’s see how he looks in the 2023 Giants’ offense.
Darren Waller in Best Ball
The Giants’ offense has been a bit of a mess in recent seasons, but Waller’s arrival should provide a much-needed boost. In 2022, Daniel Jones targeted tight ends on 15% of his pass attempts, which could bode well for Waller’s fantasy outlook.
The Giants attempted 512 passes in 2022, which ranked 22nd in the league. If the team can improve its passing game this season, Waller could be in for a productive fantasy campaign.
Waller was a high-volume target in Las Vegas before Josh McDaniels arrived seeing at least 90 targets for three straight seasons from 2019-2021. Given that the targets leader for the Giants in 2022 was Saquon Barkley, Waller should be in line to be the foundational piece of the Giants’ passing attack.
I would expect Waller’s ADP to climb from his current 8th-round slot. As of right now, he is a tremendous value. Grab him ASAP!
