Bottom of the Barrel Week 12 Tight End NFL DFS Breakdown
Bottom of the Barrel Week 12 Tight End NFL DFS Breakdown
November 26, 2022
Dealing with people, places, and personalities can be an issue. The longer we are around the more difficult it becomes. I can only speak from my own perspective, but I have become a guy who avoids public discussions. Sure, if you want to chat about football or sports betting, it’s not a big deal. I am speaking from an exhausting type of scenario where no one is right or wrong. It’s just this ugly open-ended forum where the only move is to either one up or burn the next person. One big waste of time!
If strangers do not react how, you want them to it can be dangerous. If strangers do not say what you expect them to say it can be dangerous. The idea of these specific expectations from strangers overall sets us up for failure. Expectations lead to resentments. Resentments lead to bad behavior and before we know it, we are one big ball of misery.
All the seriousness stuff aside, the week ahead should be one of thankfulness and kindness. Let’s look at some Week 12 Bottom of the Barrel plays!
I’ll get into all the details after a quick note about our new membership options! 😺

Travis Kelce KC vs. LAR(13th)(FD-$8,200)(DK-$7,700)(Y!-$30)
Travis Kelce is a good tight end. Last week he broke a tie with Rob Gronkowski for the most 100-yard games by a tight end in NFL history. Travis also became the first player in the Kansas City Chiefs franchise history with multiple games catching three, or more, touchdowns, in a single season. I should just copy & paste his projections on a weekly basis but that would be lame. Look for the Chiefs to dismantle the Rams on Sunday while Kelce receives his usual 10-11 targets, 7-8 receptions, 75+ yards, and obligatory touchdown. Don’t be silly. Don’t be cute. Roster Travis Kelce.
Juwan Johnson NO @ SF(5th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$3,400)(Y!-$14)
JJ had a significant role for the Saints’ offense, as he tied stud RB Alvin Kamara in receiving yards last week. It was Juwan’s third straight game with at least 42 receiving yards and a touchdown. This guy is on an absolute heater and just what we’re looking for when punting TEs in DFS formats. The game ahead in San Francisco is going to tough and hard fought but even more reason to get this guy in your DFS lines. The pressure this 49ers DST will put on Dalton is enough for Andy to get the ball out quickly and often. I find Juwan to be the biggest benefactor.
Foster Moreau LV @ SEA(31st)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$3,400)(Y!-$17)
As the Bottom of the Barrel articles have chugged along this week it’s clear how much I love this game from an over point total view. So, naturally I have dug in a little to pick out the cheaper players to plug in out lines. When called upon Foster has been solid. Moreau should be more than solid on Sunday against a weak and soft DST against tight ends. How soft do you ask? Seattle is allowing the second-most fantasy points per game to the tight ends this year! Put a few bucks on a Foster Moreau anytime touchdown.
Gerald Everett LAC @ ARZ(32nd)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$4,400)(Y!-$20)
Gerald is back, baby! He logged another full practice on Friday. He has also been removed from the injury report and will play against Arizona on Sunday! A Cardinals team that is so bad at defending opposing TEs! With fellow WR Mike Williams already ruled out after hurting his ankle, again, Everett has a shot at TE1 numbers this week! Let’s be over the top as we project 5-6 targets, 3-4 receptions, 45+ yards, and a touchdown. Literally $3,000 less than Kelce on FanDuel this week has Beastie licking her chops!
Jordan Akins HOU @ MIA(29th)(FD-$4,600)(DK-$2,700)(Y!-$10)
Jordan is just the product of a Texans cause and effect situation. Out with Davis Mills and in with Kyle Allen. Look, Kyle is no superstar stud QB, but it does offer a fresh look in Miami on Sunday. We have seen time and time again where these young or inexperienced QBs look to the TE position more often than usual. Strictly based on that stress of pressure in fast moving game situation. Jordan has seen a little career revival at the spot and has averaged 14.9 yards a catch. All of which were with Davis Mills at the helm. I have high hopes for Akins this week against a weak DST against the position. Miami can rip and run with the best of them leaving Kyle and Akins to push the ball and take shots. We should do the same on Sunday with Jordan.
Noah Fant SEA vs. LV(27th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$3,200)(Y!-$13)
If we’re going to stack up the Vegas Raiders, then it only makes sense to stack up the Seahawks! Vegas is allowing the ninth most fantasy points to tight ends this season. Geno Smith has played well, and I am banking on him to look Noah’s way more often than usual this week given the Raiders soft coverage against TEs. I think we’re looking at 28-27 types of final game here so get Fant in some of your entries!
