Bottom of the Barrel Week 13 Quarterbacks NFL DFS Breakdown

Patrick Mahomes KC @ CIN(5^th)(FD-$9,000)(DK-$8,300)(Y!-$38)

What a ho-hum kind of game for Pat on Sunday. Mahomes completed 27 of 42 passing attempts for a cool 320 yards, and a touchdown. Patrick also took off four times for 36 total yards. Pat also registered his sixth straight game with over 300 passing yards. What more can I say here that we don’t already know? Instead of wasting time talking about Mahomes in DFS format let’s turn our attention to some NFL history. Pat has 3,585 total passing yards this year and now has a legit shot at breaking Peyton Manning’s NFL record of 5,477 passing yards in a single season. We are witnessing greatness so let’s stop and take it all in!

Trevor Lawrence JAX @ DET(32^nd)(FD-$7,500)(DK-$5,900)(Y!-$31)

T-Law in Detroit! Trevor completed 29 passes for 321 yards and three touchdowns as the Jags beat Baltimore in a thriller, 28-27! Lawrence has now had three straight games without throwing an interception and racking up, at least, 230 passing yards! If Trevor is hitting his stride now, then this week against the Lions is the perfect time for him to go nuclear! Personally speaking, I have Lawrence around 25 completions, 270 passing yards, and two touchdowns!

Daniel Jones NYG vs. WSH(19^th)(FD-$7,200)(DK-$5,500)(Y!-$26)

Jones was efficient in the passing game on Thanksgiving against a tough Dallas defense! Daniel completed 21 passes for 228 yards and a touchdown. The Giants are back home Sunday against another NFC East foe, the Washington Commanders. From a real-life perspective this is a very important game with major playoff implications! The Giants are 7-4. The Commanders are 7-4. The Eagles have run away with the division, but Dallas, New York, and Washington are one, two, and three for an NFC Wild Card spot! This game is as important as it gets for both squads. My money is on Danny Dimes as he completes 16-17 passes, 190 yards, 6-7 carries, 35-40 yards, and is accountable for several touchdowns. Let’s see what Daniel is made of! I’m going to do just that in a few DFS entries!

Jimmy Garoppolo SF vs. MIA(29^th)(FD-$7,000)(DK-$5,700)(Y!-$29)

Jimmy G is playing some dang good football! So are the 49ers in general! Meaning, we should strike while the irons are hot! Garoppolo completed 26 of 37 pass attempts for 222 yards and one touchdown. As we look ahead to this week the Dolphins come to town with their high-flying passing attack. Tua, Hill, Waddle, and Wilson have all been running hot. I absolutely love Jimmy G and his offensive weapons this week. The stack here could be Tyreek and Waddle with Jimmy, Aiyuk, and CMC run back! Let’s shoot for the moon on Sunday with Garoppolo as he hangs 250 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Mike White NYJ @ MIN(28^th)(FD-$6,900)(DK-$5,400)(Y!-$27)

Mr. White hammered the Bears Sunday to the tune of 315 passing yards and three touchdown passes. The Jets also have a nice soft schedule ahead which also moves the needle with White. Using Mike White in DFS formats from here on out is such a beautiful move since half the seasonal fantasy crowd is done and out of playoff contention. The first thing I noticed on Sunday was when White led the Jets to an opening drive touchdown for the first time all year! After that score it was all but over for the Bears. Shockingly, with the Jets sitting at 7-4 they are in the hunt for a Wild Card spot in the NFL Playoffs. If Mike White keeps this kind of play going, New York is going to be a problem. I mean, Garrett Wilson and Elijah Moore at his disposal is enough to make opposing teams cringe!

Lit the world on fire looking lek the second coming of Patrick Mahomes in week 12. The Jets benched Zack Wilson and White threw for 315 yards and 3 touchdowns reviving the Jets passing game. Funny thing is the match up for White is even better in week 13. He gets to play against the Vikings who give up the 9^th most points to opposing team’s quarterbacks. It will be a White out for the Jets passing game in a good way week 13 ($5,400 on DraftKings and $6,900 on Fanduel)

Jared Goff DET vs. JAX(25^th)(FD-$6,800)(DK-$5,300)(Y!-$24)

This Detroit Lions team is something else! On Thanksgiving Jared Goff completed 23 of 37 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns against the Bills. Now the Lions welcome in the Jaguars who have struggled all season in coverage. The connection between Goff and Amon-Ra St. Brown is phenomenal. The quick shots to D’Andre Swift are money. Now, it looks as if rookie WR Jameson Williams will be added to the mix. Jared Goff is slam dunk cheap play in Week 13.

Believe it or not the Jaguars against the Lions game has an extremely high over under of 51.5 points. Looks like both teams will be throwing the ball a lot. The Jaguars give up the 8^th most points to opposing team’s quarterbacks while the Lions give up the most. Yes, I am saying you might want to pay up some for Trevor Lawrence as well. Goff threw for 240 and 2 touchdowns last week against the Bills. This shootout looks like Goff will be throwing a lot like his 37 attempts in week 12. Volume is king! ($5,300 on DraftKings and $6,800 on Fanduel)

Kenny Pickett PIT @ ATL(23^rd)(FD-$6,700)(DK-$5,200)(Y!-22)

On Monday Night Football Kenny completed 20 of 28 passes for 174 yards and six carries for an additional 32 yards! The Steelers are 4-7 but it looks as if Pickett has settled in and become more comfortable as Pittsburgh’s starting QB. I am no professional football scout or coach, but I have a feeling Mike Tomlin and his staff let Kenny air it out and do his thing in preparation for next year. Let’s start this week against a Falcons team giving up 24.42 points per game. Their secondary is soft and with George Pickens, Diontae Johnson, Najee Harris, and Pat Freiermuth roaming around I love Kenny’s chances at 250+ passing yards and a multi-touchdown effort on Sunday!
