Tyreek Hill MIA @ SF(16th)(FD-$9,000)(DK-$8,800)(Y!-$39)
Tyreek split early last week because he was cramping up. The way a professional athlete conditions their body with fluids and protein is a science. I’d image the Dolphins team doctors have devised a special blend of liquid for Tyreek to consume Sunday in San Francisco. At first glance you may be apprehensive about going all in on Hill based on the opposing DST. The 49ers are missing a few starters from their secondary. Tyreek will see his normal dozen, or so, targets and absolutely stuff the box score!
Garrett Wilson NYJ @ MIN(27th)(FD-$6,600)(DK-$5,300)(Y!-$18)
Let’s start this blurb backwards. Will give you the ending first! The Vikings are allowing the fifth-most fantasy points per game to receivers. Garrett has started to come on strong and hang some impressive numbers! The shocking part is the fact the Jets are about to go on a run with Mike White at quarterback. I can feel it, can you? The Jets are currently 7-4 and smack dab in the middle of the playoffs as a Wild Card. If the Jets, and Wilson, turn this season into some sort of Cinderella story will Mike White be the new Nick Foles?
Christian Watson GB @ CHI(12th)(FD-$6,500)(DK-$5,200)(Y!-$21)
We can all collectively take a victory lap on Watson. Soon as the Packers drafted this kid, we all knew he’d be a star after the departure of Adams. Took a little longer than expected but that’s ok given the fact they need time to acclimate themselves to the pace of play in the NFL. Now we get a tale as old as time! The Chicago Bears against the Green Bay Packers! I absolutely love the over, which opened at 43.5, now sitting at 44.5 points. Expect Watson at 6-7 targets, 5-6 receptions, 70 yards, and a touchdown. I think we see Watsons best game as a rookie, reception, and yardage wise, Sunday in Chicago.
Zay Jones JAX @ DET(29th)(FD-$6,400)(DK-$4,900)(Y!-$16)
Zay has exploded, his last two showings have been awesome! Taken directly from Jaguars site, “Jones’ second game this season with at least 10 catches receptions, becoming the first Jaguars player with multiple 10-reception games in a season since 2000.” What kind of fools would we be to pass up on rostering Jones, in Detroit, against a young secondary? Can Zay Jones make it three straight games with ten, or more, receptions?
Drake London ATL vs. PIT(31st)(FD-$5,900)(DK-$4,700)(Y!-$16)
Dammit! That’s the first thing that comes to my mind when thinking of Drake. This kid has all the talent in the world but no real QB to get him the ball! We all know Marcus Mariota isn’t the answer. Marcus struggles to complete 20 passes a game. His only real appeal is the rushing yardage. Where does that leave London? What if the Falcons took a page from the Jets and switched QBs? We all want Desmond Ridder! Would it be shocking to see Ridder play in this game and connect with London for a TD?
Skyy Moore KC @ CIN(7th)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$3,100)(Y!-$10)
In seasonal formats folks would tell you to hold off on starting Skyy Moore, for now. His weekly snap rate and work has been on the up and up! Once again, we are in that rather be a day late than a dollar short mindset. If Moore truly isn’t ready, then I can live with 0.0 in my DFS lines on Sunday. However, if he hangs 80 yards and a touchdown off my radar, I would be sick.
DJ Chark Jr. DET vs. JAX(24th)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$3,800)(Y!-$13)
Not to be a weirdo but the Jags and Lions have done this weird swinging swap thing. In different deals and in different years Marvin Jones left Detroit for Jacksonville. Then DJ Chark left Jacksonville for Detroit. The over on Sunday in Detroit is at 51.5 points and I want every possible piece I can. It’s been said that fading players for other players in the same game is a real thing. That’s how us cheap Bottom of the Barrel players play!
