What should I say here? I mean, at this point it’s clear that Coop is the best fantasy football player in the world. The targets are out of this world. His weekly statistics barely fit into box scores.

Much like the running backs mentioned here in Bottom of the Barrel Week 5, I would like to focus on the cheapest of plays. Four receivers to love in the 6,000-dollar range. However, a few players have set themselves apart while there are some absolute gems to be plucked from the $5,000 range! Lets’ dig in, shall we?

Allen Lazard GB vs. NYJ(20^th)(FD-$6,200)(DK-$6,000)(Y!-$18)

It’s a weird thing with Lazard. He’s catching touchdown passes the consistency just isn’t there. Last week he grabbed 4 passes for only 35 yards, but one was a touchdown. It just hit me, right now Lazard is like a fun puntable tight end. Only difference is the fact Aaron Rodgers is his QB and rookie wide-out Christian Watson is out this week. Let’s say five receptions for 60 yards and another touchdown this week, good?

Drake London ATL vs. SF(7^th)(FD-$6,100)(DK-$5,400)(Y!-$18)

Few things at play here with Drake. Yes, I know the 49ers defense is good, like special good. Yet the rookie is just being peppered with targets(39). I could make a case for the Falcons keeping this one close through three quarters but when it’s all said and done expect London to return value at cost.

Tyler Boyd CIN @ NO(21^st)(FD-$6,000)(DK-$5,100)(Y!-$16)

Unfortunately, Tee Higgins is trending towards being inactive. Perfect timing for Boyd and the idea of daily fantasy sports! Oh, also the Saints are allowing the sixth most fantasy points to receivers. I think the Bengals are good for 20+ points this week against an Andy Dalton led Saints team.

DJ Moore CAR @ LAR(30^th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$5,100)(Y!-$16)

Baker Mayfield has traumatized this organization enough already. The Carolina Panthers have fired their head coach and in a round about way I feel more comfortable using DJM with PJ Walker at QB. In all my life have not once uttered that sentence. DJM’s talent hasn’t just floated away! It is still there, and I am willing to bet PJ, DJM, and Carolina take a few big swings in this one!

Darius Slayton NYG vs. BAL(32^nd)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$3,800)(Y!-$14)

So, here we are. It has come to this. Might as well mention Victor Cruz too while we’re at it. The Giants wide receiver room is like playing that shell game on the street. We all know it’s a scam but if we can pick the right one, once, it’ll be worth it! A true degenerate mindset.
