Bottom of the Barrel Week 7 NFL DFS Breakdown
Bottom of the Barrel Week 7 NFL DFS Breakdown
Bottom of the Barrel Week 7
Chris Robin https://twitter.com/DetroitBeastie
A large portion of fantasy football is a risk. On the other end, there is a reward. How often has your fantasy life intersected with your real life? Some people try to keep the two separate. While others revel in the glory of both! It’s the balance of the two that makes us connect. It’s the balance of the two that provides the reward.
With so many of us building relationships and friendships we take certain risks. Sharing our strengths and weakness with each other. Asking for help and being kind to each other. Along with being creative and trying new things together.
I just want to tell you to get out of your comfort zone occasionally. Doing the same thing repeatedly yields the same results. Comfortable goals with no risks are just that, little to no reward. When we take a chance and get uncomfortable that’s when the growth happens!
Last week my friend Michael Reedy and I had an idea to crossover with our articles! I provided some blurbs for his article in exchange he provides a few for me and Bottom of the Barrell! Enjoy our crossover!
This is what Michael had to say in regards to Week 7! I often use Chris’s catchphrase Bottom of the Barrel when talking about inexpensive weekly plays in DFS. I can’t help it, Chris has been a good friend and I hear him say it all the time. So I also like to scrape the Bottom of the barrel when I am looking for some money makers.
Patrick Mahomes KC @ TEN(24th)(FD-$8,800)(DK-$8,400)(Y!-$40)
Patrick Mahomes – He has multiple touchdowns in every game this season. The Titans give up 291 yards and 2 touchdowns per game on average. This looks like that average will go up this week. Mahomes goes for another 300 and multiple touchdowns. ($8,400 on DraftKings and $8,800 on Fanduel) – Michael
Normally, each position is filled with juicy value but the quarterback in Week 7 gets bad, really bad, after Tannehill! After some deep diving here are the cheaper options I am pivoting to at quarterback!
Ryan Tannehill TEN v KC(31st)(FD-$7,600)(DK-$6,400)(Y!-$29)
Ryan Tannehill completed 18 of 29 passes for 216 yards and an interception Monday night. Tannehill also rushed twice for three yards and a touchdown. The rushing TD was good to see but it still has me perplexed. From what I have seen on social media you’re confused to. Has Ryan Tannehill turned back into a pumpkin? We should get our answer in Week 7. The Chiefs are 31st against opposing QB’s. My bet, Ryan holds off the pumpkin chants another week.
Ryan Tannehill – The Titans play the Chiefs in week 7. The Chiefs are the second friendliest defense to quarterbacks in fantasy. 4 out of 6 quarterbacks to play the Chiefs have scored 28 or more points. AJ Brown is looking healthy. Are you picking up what I am putting down? Tannehill needed a get-right game as his schedule gets easier and this is it. The start of good things for Tanny. $6,400 on DraftKings and $7,600 on Fanduel – Michael
Derek Carr LV v PHI(14th)(FD-$7,400)(DK-$6,000)(Y!-$25)
After the departure of head coach Jon Gruden, most were skeptical about this Vegas Raiders offense. How would it look? What would the play call look like? Safe to say Derek Carr responded, big time! To the tune of 341 yards with two touchdowns and zero interceptions. Moving forward I would imagine this Raiders team will start to implement some new look sets along with what they have learned so far. Looking ahead to Week 7 and the Eagles, Carr and Vegas are sitting pretty. Philadelphia has been hammered by two of the top-tier QB’s, Mahomes and Dak for over 500 yards and 8 touchdowns. Derek Carr is in line to make his mark in Week 7!
Matt Ryan ATL @ MIA(23rd)(FD-$7,000)(DK-$5,700)(Y!-$25)
Matt Ryan has now had back-to-back great games! Speaking of pumpkins, Calvin Ridley wasn’t with the team for personal reasons in Week 6, yet Matt Ryan still burned the Jets. In Week 7 however, the Falcons head to Miami in a contest where Matt should hit close to three times the value!
Matt Ryan – Ryan has thrown multiple touchdowns in 4 straight games. Now he gets a team that gives up over 300 yards and 2 touchdowns passing to quarterbacks weekly with the Miami Dolphins. Yes, I will be playing him. -($5,700 on DraftKings and $7,300 on Fanduel) – Michael
Joe Burrow CIN @ BAL(13th)(FD-$7,200)(DK-$6,200)(Y!-$27)
Don’t look now but Cincinnati is 4-2 and Joe Burrow is rolling! Even after accumulating 14 touchdown passes in six weeks, there are a select few folks who continue to fade. Given the match-up in Baltimore on Sunday I’d imagine Burrow will be skipped over, again. Don’t make that mistake!
Tua Tagovailoa MIA v ATL(25th)(FD-$7,100)(DK-$5,50)(Y!-$26)
The entire season leading up to Week 7 most people have put Tua down or completely dismissed. Yet, in London during Week 6, Tagovailoa has a strong performance! He completed 33 of 47 pass attempts for 329 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. While adding 22 yards with his legs. While everyone is swooning over Hurts and Lamar save a few bucks and rock with Tua!
Taylor Heinicke WSH @ GB(15th)(FD-$6,900)(DK-$5,200)(Y!-$27)
Do any of you truly believe the Football Team has a chance here in Green Bay Sunday? Yes, that’s what I thought. Quick refresher when it comes to DFS, who cares who wins the game! Are our players in the best possible spot to accumulate points? I fully expect the Packers to hang 30+ points in this one cause Heinicke throw 35+ times. Given all the bye weeks and injuries, Taylor is in an under-the-radar sweet spot in DFS formats this week!
Justin Fields CHI @ TB(28th)(FD-$6,500)(DK-$5,300)(Y!-$22)
Look, I am aware I mentioned Fields in B&B week 6. I am also aware after a nice opening drive Sunday it was all bad. Sometimes it’s not always about the best plays but the best fades. Just here to tell you Justin doesn’t look ready to hang with the big dogs at quarterback yet. Is it his fault? Is it the coaching staff’s fault? Regardless, you’re going to have a bad time Sunday in Tampa if Justin Fields is your QB!
Justin Fields – I don’t love Justin, but this match-up came just in time for him to produce something. Fields have gotten better in each game he has played, and the Buccaneers give up a lot of points to quarterbacks as their defense forces you to pass. If he is breaking out big, this is the week. ($5,300 on DraftKings and $6,500 on Fanduel) – Michael
When I sat down to compile my RB list for Week 7 one thing was clear. The position is grim and paper-thin! With the laundry list of injuries and BYE weeks, the RB position deserves more attention than initially noted. As you scroll through the RB portion this week, please keep an open mind! Suspend belief here! Yes, it is that bad.
Derrick Henry TEN v KC(19th)(FD-$11,000)(DK-$9,200)(Y!-$40)
King Henry is ELEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS on Fanduel! In all honesty, all my years playing DFS, I have never seen a price tag this high on an individual player. On the other hand, Derrick Henry, most weeks, is well worth it. Looking ahead to Chief’s match-up there is no in-between, either you are all in or you are all out! After what the King did on Monday Night I would still consider paying $15,000 for Derrick Henry. No, I am not being overdramatic.
Derrick Henry – The Chiefs defense simply gives up points to a lot of different positions. Henry is dominating touches from a running back perspective. Henry has 3 touchdowns each of the last two weeks, averages 30 touches per game, yes I said 30. King Henry will feast yet again. – Michael
Here are some cheaper options at running back in Week 7!
Miles Sanders PHI @ LV(20th)(FD-$5,900)(DK-$5,100)(Y!-$16)
Here we go again. After last week’s debacle and questionable usage rate, why would we consider Miles again? Miles’s light workload in Week 6, nine carries and four targets, was last week. Is it weird of me to think Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni has learned a lesson? As a Detroit Lions fan, I have enough crap to worry about. There is just no way Sirianni remains this out of touch with Sanders.
Devontae Booker NYG v CAR(2nd)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$5,500)(Y!-$14)
In Week 6 Booker rushed 12 times for 41 yards and caught all four of his targets for 28 yards. Was a nice respectable line for Booker after being mentioned in Bottom of the Barrel. My initial reaction here was the old saying, if it’s not broke don’t fix it. Granted Carolina is stout against the run but volume is king, right? Devontae should see plenty of work!
D’Ernest Johnson CLE v DEN(5th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$4,800)(Y!-$15)
Wouldn’t be doing my job as a DFS writer if I didn’t mention the back-up to the back-up in D’Ernest Johnson. Granted the Cleveland Browns play Denver on Thursday but I know there are a select few of you who play that massive THU-MON slate! What if I told you to expect 15+ carries from Johnson on Thursday? Would you be in then?
Devonta Freeman BAL v CIN(13th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$4,400)(Y!-$14)
Have any of you watched the Final Destination movies? The only reason I ask is cause they are eerily similar to Freeman’s path to touches here in Week 7. JK Dobbins tears his ACL in summer practice. Followed by Gus Edwards. After that Ty’Son Williams has a fantastic Monday Night football performance only to be a healthy scratch. Next up is Latavius Murray who tweaked his ankle in Week 6. Leaving Devonta Freeman as the lead back here in Week 7. Weird right?
J.D. McKissic WSH @ GB(17th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$5,000)(Y!-$16)
I absolutely love JD! No matter which way you slice it McKissic is in play each week! Washington running back J.D. McKissic rushed eight times for 45 yards and caught eight of his 10 targets for 65 yards in Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs. Granted, he was thrust into action after Gibson was dealing with an injury. Regardless, McKissic is a fantastic play in DFS formats every week!
JD McKissic – Gibson left with a shin injury and McKissic produced in a big way. If Gibby is out or not looking 100% I would plug McKissic in as he had 16 touches combining for 110 yards total in week 6. ($5,000 on DraftKings and $5,700 on Fanduel) – Michael
Rhamondre Stevenson NE v NYJ(31st)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$4,700)(Y!-$13)
Rhamondre Stevenson scored his first career touchdown in Week 6 against the Cowboys! What’s wild is the fact Damien Harris was not involved in the passing game, at all. If that continues this week against the Jets dare I say Rhamondre could be a gem!
Michael Carter NYJ @ NE(12th)(FD-$5,600)(DK-$4,800)(Y!-$14)
It looks as though Carter has separated himself from the other running backs in New York. This isn’t really saying much given the state of the Jets. The difference here is we shouldn’t care about the long-term outlook of the New York Jets! We should only tune in on a week-to-week basis! Last week the Patriots gave up 122 total rushing yards to the Cowboys between four players. Mike Carter should do well here in Week 7!
Kenyan Drake – We all may have benefited from John Gruden leaving the Raiders but no one benefited as much as Drake. He went from the highest-paid afterthought in the league, I mean back up running back. To have a 2 touchdown 73-yard game. Drake is someone I will be looking to plug in as Philly is tough on the pass and easy on the run. ($4,900 on DraftKings and $5,500 on Fanduel) – Michael
A.J. Dillon GB v WSH(24th)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$4,600)(Y!-$14)
In seasonal formats and waiver wire articles, I have seen most writers mention the touchdown dependency and unpredictability of AJ Dillon. This is absolutely correct but it’s always a matter of perspective! What seasonal formats dislike DFS formats relish! On a week-to-week basis with the Green Bay Packers, we know the pecking order! On a match-up to match-up basis with the Packers Dillon is in play. Sunday at home vs. Washington is one of those times!
Sony Michel LAR v DET(32nd)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,200)(Y!-$17)
Silly right? Matthew Stafford hosting his old team the Detroit Lions will leave little to no room for a second-string running back, right? I could argue both sides. However, this game could be used to test an odd theory of mine. Well, several of them to be honest. How out of control will this game get? At what point are the regulars, like Henderson, pulled?
Jaret Patterson WSH @ GB(17th)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,000)(Y!-$10)
Second-year running back Antonio Gibson has been banged up. Obviously, J.D. McKissic would be in line for more targets and touches but as the week rolls on let’s pay attention to practice reports and the status of Gibson. Bottom of the Barrel has always been about thinking outside of the box. J-Pat is a strong and instinctive runner and I could see him getting some work here if they tone it down for Gibby.
Demetric Felton CLE v DEN(5th)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,900)(Y!-$12)
The Cleveland Browns are in a tough spot Thursday night. Baker Mayfield might be a little too tough for his own good. Wanting to play through the pain of a dislocated shoulder. Nick Chubb is on the shelf with a minor knee injury. Also, Kareem Hunt is nursing a calf injury.
Jamaal Williams DET @ LAR(15th)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$4,600)(Y!-$15)
The thought process with Jamaal Williams here is simple. This game will get out of control and out of hand early. Leaving the Lions throwing and playing from behind for legitimately three quarters.
Travis Homer SEA v NO(8th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$4,000)(Y!-$10)
In the absence of Russell Wilson, Chris Carson, and now Alex Collins the Seahawks are on thin ice. Fantasy football, even DFS, broken down to its simplest form is opportunity. We see a small window we jump through! Penny and Collins have a slight chance to play but regardless think of Homer in Week 7 to save some salary.
Kenny Gainwell PHI @ LV(20th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$4,200)(Y!-$12)
In seasonal formats I am aware both Eagles’ RB’s are not to be trusted. Although, in a weird way, it’s not their fault. All blame should fall upon Philadelphia head coach Nick Sirianni. All sports betting is a risk and in Week 7 I am taking the chance that Nick and the Eagles brass has had some sort of wake-up call after Week 6.
DeeJay Dallas SEA v NO(8th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$4,300)(Y!-$12)
Each week I comb through the practice reports, injury updates, and overall content to put together this article. DeeJay Dallas is the bottom of the barrel at RB’s this week. A ton of things have to go right in order for him to see some playing time but as I mentioned in the opening, we have to suspend belief in Week 7!
Salvon Ahmed MIA v ATL(21st)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$4,000)(Y!-$13)
Are the Dolphins hell-bent on getting Ahmed more touches? Or are they hell-bent on suppressing Gaskin’s talents? Truth be told, I have no idea! The real answer here is beyond me! Based on the opponent and health of Tua I firmly believe Ahmed finds the endzone in Week 7.
Chris Evans CIN @ BAL(22nd)(FD-$4,800)(DK-$4,000)(Y-$10)
Aye! There he is! The rookie from the University of Michigan finding the endzone in Detroit! Hopefully, you know me and I know you at this point of the season. Lots of folks are analytics-driven. Some are data and tape-driven. What about from the gut based on overall experience? Not saying I’m the smartest man alive but I have become familiar with my instincts and listening to my heart. Week 5 and 6, lead me to Khalil Herbert. Also in Week 6, we had Chris Evans. Looking at the current role of the Bengals, and the health of Joe Mixon, Chris Evans will be more involved as the season moves along.
Davante Adams GB v WSH(31st)(FD-$9,000)(DK-$8,900)(Y!-$35)
Winsome lose some right? The Packers owned the Chicago Bears in Week 6 but Adams put up a dud. Well, a dud by his standards. This match-up against Washington is so sweet and juicy no way we can pass it up!
Devante Adams – Washington Football Team gives up the second-most points to wide receivers. Adams has been playing excellent football but fantasy-wise he has been up and down. WFT gives up over 200 yards and a touchdown every week to wide receivers. . He will be way up, all the way up in week 7. ($8,900 on DraftKings and $9,000 on Fanduel) – Michael
Tyreek Hill – Hill did well against WFT in week 6 with 9 receptions for 76 yards and a touchdown. This week he is up against the team giving up the most points to wide receivers in fantasy, the Titans. I am looking for more yards and another touchdown from a rested Hill in week 7. ($8,600 on DraftKings and $8,500 on Fanduel) – Michael
Upon further review here are several WR’s we can pivot and stack in Week 7!
Jaylen Waddle MIA v ATL(20th)(FD-$5,900)(DK-$5,600)(Y!-$16)
In support group meetings you will hear a lot of cliches and overall corny statements. In this case, it took a game across the pond for the first rookie selection to break through! Jaylen Waddle caught 10 of 13 targets for 70 yards and two touchdowns! It was a sweet performance at exactly the right time! No looking back now friends! Take advantage of his price now, it will never be lower!
Jaylen Waddle – Waddle had a 28% target share in week 7. That translates to 13 targets, 10 receptions, 70 yards, and 2 touchdowns. Only the two lousy New York teams did not have wide receivers score multiple touchdowns against the Falcons. The Falcons have given up 7 touchdowns to wide receivers on the season. Yes, yes I am saying this is a great match-up for Waddle. Watch as he waddles into the endzone. $5,600 on DraftKings and $5,900 on Fanduel – Michael
Darnell Mooney CHI @ TB(26th)(FD-$5,900)(DK-$4,600)(Y!-$17)
In Week 6 Mooney caught five passes for 45 yards and a touchdown on Sunday. It’s getting bad in Chicago from a fantasy football perspective. I am aware nobody cares about our fantasy teams but I am always trying to find a glimmer of hope. Maybe there will come a time where I exclude Chicago Bears players from the article due to lack of production but not this week.
Corey Davis NYJ @ NE(15th)(FD-$5,900)(DK-$5,200)(Y!-$14)
Bye weeks are a weird thing! How many people do you think will have forgotten about Davis and the Jets in Week 7? Maybe it’s not true and I’m off here but Corey has been a bright spot so far on a lackluster Jet’s team. Once again, cheaply priced and primmed for eight or more targets in Foxboro this week, don’t forget about Corey Davis.
DeVonta Smith PHI @ LV(5th)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$5,400)(Y!-$14)
If you scroll up to the Miles Sanders blurb the same principles apply here with Smith. There is just no way Nick Sirianni and the rest of the Eagles coaching staff can suffer another bunder as they did in Week 6. Seriously, there’s just no way. Plus, the kid’s salary is staying at a perfect price!
Allen Robinson III CHI @ TB(26th)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$5,100)(Y!-$19)
Right as the clock hit zeros in Week 6 it hit me. First, there was anger followed by embarrassment. I freaking knew better as I was writing and researching for Week’s 6 articles. That’s the worse feeling! I just flipping knew it. Yet here we are in Week 7. It’s a mix of pride and ego but also a way to clear my mind. One last goodbye to Allen Robinson. Never again!
Henry Ruggs III LV v PHI(4th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$5,500)(Y!-$15)
From Robinson to this is a nice refreshing move! Henry Ruggs III caught three of his four targets on Sunday, for 97 yards and a touchdown! One of which was a beautiful 48-yard touchdown! Ruggs will continue to see a ton of air yards on a weekly basis, making him an interesting ceiling play with a low floor. Although, a few more targets a game wouldn’t hurt!
Jakobi Meyers NE v NYJ(3rd)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$5,300)(Y!-$13)
Jakobi Meyers hauled in 5-of-6 targets for 44 yards in New England’s overtime defeat to Dallas. He also caught his first NFL touchdown, but it was called back due to a holding penalty. Truth be told I just can’t quit this kid! In all my years playing fantasy football, I cannot remember a kid being so close yet so far to superstardom! I am willing to go all-in and bet everything I own on Meyers to register his first 100-yard game in Week 7 along with a touchdown! Does anyone want to bet?
Van Jefferson Jr. LAR v DET(9th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$3,500)(Y!-$12)
There will be plenty to go around for Van Jr. and the Rams in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions! I am picturing a 40+ yard touchdown here in Los Angeles!
Robbie Anderson CAR @ NYG(23rd)(FD-5,500)(DK-$4,800)(Y!-$11)
I have good news and bad news. Which one do you want first? First off, the good! Robby has been targeted 29 times the last three games. Bad news, Anderson has only caught 10 of those targets. All the meaningful numbers are there! Target share (almost 27%) and his snap count (84%) but it’s not translating into much production. Week 7 of the NFL season is the reason DFS was created! An unbelievable number of injuries mixed with a ton of bye weeks has us reeling. So, in turn, I am willing to take a shot at Robby this week. Here’s hoping the metrics translate into some real-life fantasy points!
Allen Lazard GB v WSH(31st)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$4,200)(Y!-$13)
One week it’s MVS one week it’s Lazard. Nothing concrete here but the match-up against Washington is everything.
Mecole Hardman KC @ TEN(31st)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$4,300)(Y!-$15)
Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman caught four passes for 62 yards in Week 6 against Washington. He continues to be off the radar in seasonal formats but from a DFS perspective, he catches my attention from time to time. Week 7 is yet again one of those times. The Chiefs head to Tennessee and after what Cole Beasley and Emmanuel Sanders did against the Titans on Monday night I think there’s a chance for some major fireworks with Hardman!
Rashod Bateman BAL v CIN(12th)(FD-$5,300)(DK-$3,400)(Y!-$15)
If not now then when? Rashod Bateman caught 4-of-6 targets for 29 yards in a 34-6 win over the Chargers in Week 6. If not now then when? In his first professional start, Bateman was instantly involved! File that under things you love to see! Jokes aside, I am having this strong feeling that after Week 7 he will be on everybody’s radar with a much higher price tag!
Bryan Edwards LV v PHI(4th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$4,100)(Y!-$10)
This isn’t a draft guide it’s my thoughts and methods for Week 7. So, as we all know the talent is there for Edwards. The only thing lacking is the volume! In Week 6 Bryan saw 4 targets while catching two of them for a solid 67 yards. One of which being a 51-yard reception! Maybe I am in the minority here, but I am a big believer in Derek Carr this week. On paper, this match-up against the Eagles is not sweet but when you think a little more outside the box here the Raiders may be playing a little more uninhibited after ousting Jon Gruden. Carr is a good competent professional QB and if this coaching staff lets control the game as he pleases, I could certainly see Bryan Edwards being a factor!
KhaDarel Hodge DET @ LAR(18th)(FD-$4,900)(DK-$3,000)(Y!-$10)
Even I am shocked Hodge popped up in my notes for Week 7. With only four targets in Week 6, there isn’t much here. Although, KhaDarel played 50 snaps and ran 34 routes on Sunday against Cincinnati. Just another case of a predictive game script and a first-hand view of what’s going on in my head. I’d expect one of two things to happen Sunday in LA. Jared Goff to throw 50 times or the coaching staff to make the switch to David Blough. Either way, maybe, just maybe, Hodge can find the endzone!
Amon-Ra St. Brown DET @ LAR(18th)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$4,100)(Y!-$14)
Remember when I said Jared Goff could throw the ball 50+ times or the Lions make the switch to David Blough? That was cool! Either way, I am almost sure head coach Dan Campbell is about to throw a wrench in any plans we thought we had with Detroit. One of which is hopefully getting Amon-Ran way more involved!
Dante Pettis NYG @ CAR(12th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$3,000)(Y!-$10)
Kenny Golladay has already been ruled out in Week 7. Along with Saquon Barkley and Kadarius Toney. Furthermore, Sterling Shepard is questionable with a hamstring issue. Also, a game-time decision here is John Ross III. It is unbelievable! It’s awful too. Meaning Pettis one way or another will be thrust into action in week 7. Sometimes it’s more about the situation rather than the player.
Tyler Johnson TB v CHI(20th)(FD-$4,800)(DK-$3,000)(Y!-$10)
Word came out late this week that Antonio Brown was unable to play here in Week 7. The amazing thing here is the fact a kid like Tyler Johnson has become such a great play! It’s a testament to Tom Brady being able to support several WR’s week-to-week! Given his price tag Ty John is in the driver’s seat to see two, maybe three times the value!
Travis Kelce KC @ TEN(6th)(FD-$8,200)(DK-$7,600)(Y!-$28)
I was going to copy and paste what I wrote about Kelce here in Week 6 but that wouldn’t be right. Which in a way is a good thing? Travis Kelce is still the best tight end in the game.
Travis Kelce – Simply the best. He has only 1 game this season where he doesn’t have double-digit fantasy points. If you want to pay up at TE, I say pay up for Kelce. The Titans are relatively tough on tight ends but give up a lot of passing to opposing teams. Kelce scores yet again in week 7. ($7,600 on DraftKings and $8,200 on Fanduel) – Michael
Let’s dig into some cheaper punt plays at TE for Week 7!
Mike Gesicki – Gesicki has double-digit fantasy scores in 3 out of the last 4 games. He has been targeted heavily in the last 4 games as well. With his roughly 20% target share, I will gladly plug him and his opportunities into my lineup. ($4,700 on DraftKings and $6,000 on Fanduel) – Michael
Hunter Henry NE v NYJ(22nd)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$4,100)(Y!-$17)
Raise your hand if you knew Hunter was the better signing over Jonnu Smith way back when. Really? Not that many of you! Three weeks and three touchdowns! I love a good streak! Let’s see if he can keep it going for a fourth straight week!
Tyler Higbee LAR v DET(10th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$4,500)(Y!-$16)
One more chance here with Higbee. If nothing happens in Week 7 against the Detroit Lions then never again in this article. Promise you that!
Ricky Seals-Jones WSH @ GB(18th)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$3,700)(Y!-$15)
Ricky was a no-brainer move in Week 6 and I see no reason why we shouldn’t be back on him in Week 7!
Ricky Seals-Jones – Ricky has simply taken over the pass-catching role that Logan Thomas had. He has 15 targets over the past two games for 9 catches 99 yards and a touchdown. Plug him in and let him go. ($3,700 on DraftKings and $5,400 on Fanduel) – Michael
Zach Ertz ARZ v HOU(31st)(FD-$5,400)(DK-$3,900)(Y!-$17)
Remember last week when Ertz played on Thursday night then was trading to Arizona? Then on Sunday, all his points disappeared POOF they were gone! How about all people on social media tagging several fantasy football platforms asking if their points would be restored? Yeah, that was fun. Not really but you get my point.
C.J. Uzomah CIN @ BAL(29th)(FD-$5,200)(DK-$3,000)(Y!-$15)
Uzomah and Bottom of the Barrel have been dancing around with each other all season. Since being mentioned in Week 1 C.J. has scored three times. Yes, I am aware he is, at best, the fifth option on this team for targets and touches but hey, tight end is awful most weeks.
Cole Kmet CHI @ TB(24th)(FD-$4,900)(DK-$3,000)(Y!-$11)
I had Evan Engram penciled into the article this week but it went against every fiber of my being. Truth be told Cole Kmet isn’t far behind. In all honesty, I have no idea why, for a second straight week, I have mentioned a trio of Chicago Bears. Much like Tyler Higbee, if nothing goes on with Cole in Week 7 consider him blacklisted!
Foster Moreau LV v PHI(26th)(FD-$4,400)(DK-$2,500)(Y!-$10)
Foster is at the bottom of the pecking order in the Vegas target share but that’s the draw. I am attracted to it like a moth to a lightbulb. Given the match-up Sunday against the Eagles I could see two(ish) receptions one being a touchdown!
