Bottom of the Barrel Week 7 RB NFL DFS Breakdown

Bottom of the Barrel Week 7 TE NFL DFS Breakdown

As we turn our attention to Week 7 of the NFL there are a few things that come to mind. The one that keeps coming up the most is madness. Yet can we really be surprised? The Philadelphia Eagles are undefeated as they head into their bye week. The New York Jets & Giants look good. Has Tom Brady finally gone off the deep end? Buffalo and Minnesota are 5-1. Have there been more injuries and concussions than normal? Any way you slice it, football keeps us guessing!

Let’s dig into Bottom of the Barrel for Week 7 where I can do most of the guessing!

I’ll get into all the details after a quick note about our new membership options! 😺

Running Backs

Austin Ekeler LAC vs. SEA(28th)(FD-$9,500)(DK-$8,300)(Y!-$39)

Bottom of the Barrel has always been about those low-cost and low-owned players. As you scroll through the top end of these running backs you will see that it is top heavy then falls off a cliff. Just speaks volumes about the state of the position. However, in my B&B notes, I could not stop writing players down. After I was done the amount of RB’s mentioned seemed ridiculous. Be on the lookout for my Week 7 B&B notes. A lot of cutting room floor type stuff.

Aaron Jones GB @ WSH(18th)(FD-$6,800)(DK-$7,600)(Y!-$25)

The Packers had a forgettable Week 6 which makes them a perfect stack in Week 7. I already know that Aaron Jones hasn’t scored a touchdown since Week 2, but the levy must break at some point, right? Not a concrete argument for Jones in Week 7 but I have stacked teams and players with less! At his price tag on FanDuel anything less than 75 total yards and a touchdown would be a failure. Which is good given the fact I have Aaron around 85 total yards on thirteen carries, three receptions, and a touchdown.

Tony Pollard DAL vs. DET(30th)(FD-$6,500)(DK-$5,700)(Y!-$19)

I have gone back and forth between Tony and Zeke Elliott. Not rocket science that we can play both but for the sake of this article I find Tony to be more effective. We can save $400 on FanDuel and $300 on DraftKings. Which isn’t a ton of DFS dough but it’s the difference between the Bengals DST at home against the Falcons or Panthers at home against Tampa Bay. Expect around nine or ten carries for Pollard to go along with three or four receptions for 80 yards and a score.

Brian Robinson Jr. WSH vs. GB(21st)(FD-$6,100)(DK-$5,500)(Y!-$16)

Last Thursday Brian Robinson Jr. carried the ball 17 times for 60 yards and a TD in his first start for the Commanders! In a weird way, this week, against Green Bay I do believe will be B-Rob’s coming out party. Seventeen carries are tough to hide or ignore in the DFS community, but I am locking Robinson Jr. in 99.9% of my DFS lines.

Kareem Hunt CLE @ BAL(14th)(FD-$5,800)(DK-$5,400)(Y!-$16)

Speaking of secrets, cat is out of the bag with Kareem Hunt. However, like Aaron Jones last week, Hunt had his worst performance of the season last week, at home, against the Patriots. Perfect time to double down on him in Baltimore. I am personally expecting 9-10 carries for 40 yards to go with 2 or 3 receptions for an additional 20 yards.
