Bottom of the Barrel Week 7 TE NFL DFS Breakdown

Mark Andrews BAL vs. CLE(15^th)(FD-$8,500)(DK-$7,400)(Y!-$27)

Guess what? Travis Kelce has been supplanted, in price, by Mark Andrews on FanDuel at least! With that the drop off, in price, at tight end this week is around $1,900 on FanDuel. DraftKings is a different story as Kelce is $8,000 while Mark is $7,400. There are seemingly less decent options at the TE spot this week. Let me do the work and comb through depth charts for you. Here are my cheaper options at the tight end spot in Week 7.

David Njoku CLE @ BAL(17^th)(FD-$5,700)(DK-$4,200)(Y!-$18)

If the targets keep on coming, I will keep playing David Njoku! David, this season, has a total of 35 targets, 27 receptions, 347 total yards, and one touchdown. Njoku is also averaging 12.9 yards a reception! On Sunday, in Baltimore, most folks may just dismiss the Browns and Cleveland, but I say let’s buck the faders! The Browns will keep pace with the Ravens while Njoku should be set up sweet with a positive game script! I am thinking 5 or 6 targets with 4 or 5 catches for 50 yards and a touchdown!

Robert Tonyan GB @ WSH(4^th)(FD-$5,500)(DK-$4,100)(Y!-$13)

You know how, in football, when you run routes the chances of being targeted go up? In addition, the more routes you run the likelihood of catching a football goes up. Well, Tonyan leads the Packers in targets per snap. Is this what life without Davante Adams looks like? Sign me up! The DvP numbers aren’t favorable with him at the TE spot but everywhere else for the Pack is. Six targets, five receptions, 40 yards, and a touchdown are well within reach.

Daniel Bellinger NYG @ JAX(10^th)(FD-$5,100)(DK-$3,400)(Y!-$11)

Talk about coming out of nowhere, Daniel Bellinger! Bellinger caught five passes for 38 yards and a touchdown in Week 6! The five receptions were nice and let’s cool our jets this week, but it is realistic to project another four or five targets, three or four receptions, and a cool 35-40 yards. The Jacksonville DST has been playing shockingly well but let’s see if the Giants are for real!

Hayden Hurst CIN vs. ATL(28^th)(FD-$4,900)(DK-$3,500)(Y!-$17)

Looks as if Hayden was dealing with a sore groin last week given his seasonal low three targets. When we look ahead to Week 7, I find Hurst to be a premium option at the position! Without even looking at the Study Hub I am willing to bet Hayden’s value tier is an A+! As far as my personal projections are concerned, I may be a little overly ambitious but hey, it’s DFS! Five targets for four receptions including 40 yards and a touchdown!

O.J. Howard HOU @ LV(30^th)(FD-$4,500)(DK-$2,600)(Y!-$12)

The only move with O.J. here is the fact that the Raiders secondary is weak. Their defensive line is strong in some ways but that back seven lacks the talent to keep up with an above average WR/TE grouping. With Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins in play let’s toss Howard into that mix. If you want to get wild add in Texans QB Davis Mills to bring it all together!
