Derrick Henry TEN @ HOU(32nd)(FD-$10,000)(DK-$8,400)(Y!-$40)
King Henry with 20+ carries, 200+ rushing yards, and 2 touchdowns is a lock this week. Thanks to a friend on Twitter Henry’s last three games against Houston goes as follows: 211 yards 2 touchdowns, 212 yards 2 touchdowns, and 250 yards 2 touchdowns. That’s 224 yards and a 2.3333 touchdown per game average. Wowza! On top of that the Texans defense allows 5.28 yards per carry to running backs! The fourth highest in the league! Wowza!
Raheem Mostert MIA @ DET(31st)(FD-$6,800)(DK-$5,900)(Y!-$21)
Speaking of slam dunks, in walks Mostert facing an awful Detroit Lions defense. Raheem had 16 attempts for 79 yards last week to go along with a season-high four catches, 30 yards, and a receiving touchdown! The Lions are allowing a league-high 32.2 points per game while the Fins haven’t score more than 17 points in four straight games. Let’s pencil him around 17 carries, 80 yards, three receptions, and 20 yards. The four headed monster of Tua, Tyreek, Waddle, and Mostert should go bananas Sunday at Ford Field.
Najee Harris PIT @ PHI(16th)(FD-$6,600)(DK-$5,700)(Y!-$19)
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. When you start to fade a guy that’s when I scoop in and dedicate an entire blurb about him! This isn’t a dynasty football article, but it goes hand in hand with daily fantasy sports. Some of us lied to each other when we saw Harris just get a ton of work in week in and week out during his rookie season. That hasn’t been the case this year. Truth be told it’s not the kid’s fault! It has 100% been poor game flow and inefficiency of the Steelers offense. When I guy like Dionate Johnson isn’t seeing consistent targets then you know the issue is the quarterback. Look, I am aware the Eagles are about to hammer Pittsburgh, but it would be the perfect time for Harris to play in 100% of the offensive snaps. If he’s on the field, then more chances may pop up for him to stuff the box score. I am thinking Harris carries the ball 15-16 times, 70 yards, four receptions, and 25 yards. Given the lower-than-normal price tag in a game where the Steelers are getting 10.5 points is good enough for me!
Tony Pollard DAL vs. CHI(27th)(FD-$6,300)(DK-$6,100)(Y!-$17)
This call was a lot cooler earlier in the week before the unfortunate news about Zeke. However, to be fair, Tony P. has been a favorite here at Bottom of the Barrel all season. Last Week Tony had 12 carries for 83 yards while also catching two passes for 26 yards. When he and Elliott are both active Tony has been more involved in the passing game, but all that jazz can be thrown out the window this week. Meaning, we can expect close to 20 carries, 90 yards, three receptions, 20 yards, and a touchdown. Pollard has averaged 5.6 yards a carry this season so if that holds true against the Bears then Tony can be looking at around 112 yards on the ground. No one has ever called me a math whizz, but 20 carries multiplied by 5.6 equals 112!
D’Onta Foreman CAR @ ATL(10th)(FD-$6,400)(DK-$5,300)(Y!-$19)
New team same time share for Foreman but per usual D’Onta has been more efficient and productive with his on-field touches. Compared to Panthers starting RB, Chuba Hubbard, Foreman tailed 118 yards on 15 carries and two receptions for 27 yards. Chuba did leave early last week but looks to be ready to play on Sunday. The Falcons are dang good against opposing RBs but what if D’Onta sees more action in the passing game? Get this, Atlanta is 28th overall against opposing pass catchers! So as folks gloss right over Foreman let’s plug him in! If it helps, I have D’Onta around 10 carries, 40 yards, three receptions, and 20 yards. Realistically, sixty all-purpose yards and a touchdown are well within reach.
Brian Robinson Jr. WSH @ IND(21st)(FD-$6,000)(DK-$5,600)(Y!-$18)
The thoughts that go on in my head are mostly wild. Case in point, B-Rob Jr. and even Antonio Gibson. Let’s start with Robinson Jr. and his unbelievably fast healing time from being shot. If we fast-forward to Sunday some folks might look at the Colts as a tough match-up. Indianapolis has allowed the ninth-fewest yards per carry to RBs. However, they seem to be going through it right now given the fact they Benched Matt Ryan in favor of Sam Ehlinger. Jonathan Taylors value has taken a nosedive after returning for injury. Plus, the Commanders just beat the Packers! If momentum is alive and well then Washington has a ton of it headed into Indy. While most folks may fret that Gibson continues to see 10 or so targets and touches a game, I love it. The Commanders may have tapped into a one-two punch goldmine! I have Robinson Jr. around 15 carries, 70 yards, two receptions, and 8-10 yards.
Good luck and have fun! Bottom of the Barrel wide recievers will be out soon! Keep an eye out!
