Week 1 NFL DFS Value Picks
The most loveable longshot…
Jared Goff
Jared Goff and the Lions always seem to get a bad rap, however, after their appearance on HBO’s Hard Knocks, they seem to have gained some newfound respect. Goff has some new weapons in his offense and appears to have stepped up his own game. Priced at $5.4 and projected to bring 16 fantasy points to our lineup, it’s hard not to like him. To be fair, he’s been averaging over 19 fantasy points per game, so he’s likely to surpass these early projections.
Who doesn’t love a Tight End?
Robert Tonyan
This past weekend, I spent some time chatting with fellow Team Rise or Fall contributor, Detroit Beastie and he was in full agreement that Tonyan is the guy this season for Green Bay. He’s set at a salary of $3.7 he’s projected to bring 8.36 fantasy points. Tonyan is healthy this season bouncing back from a torn ACL. Injuries are tricky, but I’m comfortable giving him a shoutout as a value pick with a huge upside for our Week 1 NFL DFS Value Picks.
Poised to smash his rookie expectations…
Jahan Dotson
It’s been widely reported that Jahan Dotson produced a fabulous performance at camp. That’s really no surprise considering he’s got great hands and the guy is FAST! This puts him in a great position to be the number 2 target, at least as it applies to our Week 1 NFL DFS Value Picks. Dotson is priced at just $3.4 and is projected to produce 8.16 fantasy points. That projection outshines his fellow value picks by far.
