DraftKings Week 2 NFL DFS Top Picks

DraftKings Week 2 NFL DFS

It’s Week 2! I’ll be here each and every day leading up to kick-off to give you additional insight into building your DraftKings lineups. This article will focus on DraftKings Week 2 NFL DFS plays! Let’s Gooooo!

My goal isn’t to build your lineup for you, it’s to be a guide by using my experience as a sports bettor and by using the membership tools available at Team Rise or Fall. With that being said… let’s look at this week’s favorites.

We recently added Individual Sport memberships to our offerings here at Rise or Fall. If you would like to subscribe for an NFL Monthly or NFL Weekly without access to any of the other sports you now have that option.

All memberships come with Discord Access, however, only the *Monthly All Access* for $39.99 comes with the $20 monthly credit to Fantasy Cruncher.

DraftKings Week 2 NFL DFS Top Picks

Who’s projected to make the most fantasy points this week?

Christian McCaffrey (Or Not)

CMC was the top pick for many this Fantasy Football season. He’s certainly earned it, but his durability holds many players back from drafting him. For DFS purposes, we’re not as concerned about that, since we play on a week-by-week basis, rather than a whole season with a guy. According to the member-exclusive StudyHub tool, McCaffrey is projected to score just over 23 points. He’s actually being featured at a decent price of $8.9K.

My problem with CMC is that there are several picks that are around the same price point or even much less, who produced much more last week. I’m inclined to go with Antonio Gibson.

Antonio Gibson produced 20 fantasy points (CMC had 13.7). This week, he’s projected to produce 16 fantasy points at a price of $6.2K and has fairly low rostership at just north of 4%. Don’t be surprised when you see him again in my value pick article!

Got deep pockets?

Jonathan Taylor

JT is our priciest pick of the week for the second week in a row. If you managed to roster him, he certainly brought in the points. At his high rostership percentage, you weren’t the only DFS fan who scored, so hopefully you were able to differentiate your line up in another meaningful way last week. Be prepared to do the same thing again this week. If you roster Jonathan Taylor, look for a complimentary sneaky pairing to make this pick really work for you. You can roster JT at $9.9K this week.

Skip on Kupp this week…

Justin Jefferson

It feels pretty bold to suggest skipping Cooper Kupp this week, but at a price point of $9.9K and not much to be excited about last week in comparison to his projections… I’d rather spend the cash on Justin Jefferson this week.

JJ is priced slightly lower at $9.1K which is still pretty pricey! You’ll need to get creative, but I’m confident this pick will pay off. I’m hopeful that it’s not a glitch, but his rostership percentage is showing to be quite low at the time of this publication. He’s projected to bring 21+ points and last week he ended up producing a mind-blowing 42.4 fantasy points!
