Fantasy Football Players to Avoid Week 12

Running Backs

Travis Etienne Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars: Etienne has been a disappointment since returning from a Week 9 bye, averaging just 7.5 fantasy points per game. With the Jaguars’ offense struggling, Etienne is a risky start against the Houston Texans in Week 12.

Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans: Henry has failed to reach 40 rushing yards in two consecutive games, and the Titans’ offense has been inconsistent. With better matchups on the horizon, Henry is still worth starting in Week 12, but his boom potential is limited.

Wide Receivers

Jamar Chase, Cincinnati Bengals: Chase’s production has been inconsistent since Joe Burrow‘s injury, and with Jake Browning now under center, his fantasy value is uncertain. Chase is still a star receiver, but he’s a risky start against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12.

Gabe Davis, Buffalo Bills: Davis has been boom-or-bust throughout his career, and he’s coming off a zero-target performance against the Cleveland Browns. With the Bills facing the Philadelphia Eagles, who surrender the most fantasy points per game to wide receivers, Davis is a gamble in Week 12.

Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos: Jeudy has been a disappointment this season, and with Courtland Sutton hogging all the receiving touchdowns, Jeudy’s fantasy value is minimal. His schedule for the fantasy playoffs is enticing, but he’s a risky start against the Cleveland Browns in Week 12.

Garrett Wilson, New York Jets: Wilson had a nightmare of a game in Week 11, finishing with two receptions for nine yards and a lost fumble. With Tim Boyle now under center, Wilson’s fantasy value is uncertain. The Jets face the Miami Dolphins on Friday, but Wilson is a risky start in Week 12.
