Fantasy Football Stuffed Games 2021

2021 Fantasy Stuffed Games
Chris Robin https://twitter.com/DetroitBeastie

Do you like to plan? Getting a head start can be huge for a number or reasons. I have never been a planner. So, this article is a strange idea for me to conquer. It is always fun to look ahead and guess while making predictions. This article is strictly for entertainment purposes. Learned long ago not to take this whole thing too seriously.

Fantasy Football Stuffed Games 2021

As we prepare to draft, make waiver claims, or some off-season trading I think we should look ahead to the 2020 NFL schedule! More importantly, fantasy stuffed games! Look at fantasy sports the same way the meteorologist looks at his forecasts. We have legit numbers and facts but the meat of it all is guessing mixed with opinions. Here are a few of my personal favorite NFL games heading into the 2021 season week by week!

Week 1 (9-12-21)

Arizona Cardinals @ Tennessee Titans (1p)

Week one game one we see Kyler Murray go head-to-head with ADP darling Ryan Tannehill. How well will the A.J. Green signing look after this one?

Cleveland Browns @ Kansas City Chiefs (4:25p)

How many of you look at Cleveland as a legit contender this season? Although early, let us see what Baker, Chubb, and Odell Beckham bring to the table.

Week 2 (9-19-21)

Buffalo Bills @ Miami Dolphins (1p)

Safe to say we know what we are going to get from Josh Allen and Bills. The interesting thought here is Tua Tagovailoa and his rushing prospects along with feeding his receivers.

Dallas Cowboys @ Los Angeles Chargers (4:25p)

Cowboys at Redskins 10/21/18

Here is hoping Dak Prescott is a full go by week two. If so, we are in for a treat! Herbert and Dak going back and forth while we tally up all the points!

Week 3 (9-26-21)

Los Angeles Chargers @ Kansas City Chiefs (1p)

Warning you now the week leading up to this game is going to be highly publicized and shoved in your face. Rightfully so!

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Los Angeles Rams (4:05p)

Father time, Tom Brady going head-to-head with a highly motivated and rejuvenated Matthew Stafford. How many touchdowns passes in this one? Seven, eight, maybe ten?

Week 4 (10-3-21)

New York Giants @ New Orleans Saints (1p)

I already know what you are thinking. What in the heck are you thinking here Chris? By week 4 Daniel Jones should be the man in New York while the quarterback situation should be clear in New Orleans.

Arizona Cardinals @ Los Angeles Rams (4:05p)

Only in week four and I have mentioned the Rams several times. Hey, you like what you like! Kyler’s legs vs. Stafford’s arm! Sign me up!

Week 5 (10-10-21)

Tennessee Titans @ Jacksonville Jaguars (1p)

AFC South showdown in week five but what are the circumstances? We know the Titans have playoff aspirations. Are the young upstart Jaguars coming together? If so all eyes on Jacksonville in week five!

Buffalo Bills @ Kansas City Chiefs (8:20p)

Josh Allen vs. Patrick Mahomes. Need I say more?

Week 6 (10-17-21)

Miami Dolphins @ Jacksonville Jaguars (9:30a London)

Over the years these London games have been touted as anything goes and a chaotic situation. Early start time for us in the United States.

Arizona Cardinals @ Cleveland Browns (4:05p)

When looking ahead at the schedule this game grabbed my attention. The fast-paced play here is what excites me the most.

Week 7 (10-24-21)

Kansas City Chiefs @ Tennessee Titans (1p)

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (15) celebrates after his third touchdown pass of the game during the first half of an NFL football game against the San Francisco 49ers in Kansas City, Mo., Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018. Mahomes’ TDs surpass Peyton Manning for the most pass TDs by a quarterback in his team’s first three games of the season in NFL history. (AP Photo/Charlie Riedel)

Have any of you seen the Mahomes vs Tannehill split graphic comparing the two players over the last year? It is insanely interesting and quite surprising!

Detroit Lions @ Los Angeles Rams (4:05p)

Think we both know the deal with this one. First overall selection in 2009 Matthew Stafford hosts his old team in the Detroit Lions. Records aside at the time both teams will have something to prove.

Week 8 (10-31-21 Halloween)

Carolina Panthers @ Atlanta Falcons (1p)

Carolina comes to town looking to carve up the Falcons on Halloween. I just pray Sam Darnold is the one holding the knife!

Dallas Cowboys @ Minnesota Vikings (8:20p Sunday Night Football)

Put the kids to bed, grab some candy, turn off all the lights and let us watch Kirk Cousins, Dalvin Cook, Dak, Lamb and Zeke go to work!

Week 9 (11-7-21)

Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints (1p)

Anytime the Falcons and Saints get together we are in for a show. Although, what will each team look like come week nine?

Green Bay Packers @ Kansas City Chiefs (4:25p)

Week 10 (11-14-21)

Minnesota Vikings @ Los Angeles Chargers (4:05p)

I have always been open and honest with all of you so no sense in lying now. Dying to see what Kirk Cousins is doing in week ten in Los Angeles vs. Justin Herbert.

Los Angeles Chargers @ San Francisco 49ers (8:15p Monday Night Football)

At this point of the season safe to say Trey Lance is the 49ers quarterback? If so, a primetime match-up with Herbert and Lance is as good as it gets!

Week 11 (11-21-21)

Indianapolis Colts @ Buffalo Bills (1p)

This one might be a head-scratcher to you but to me it is simple. AFC South vs AFC East matchup and if all has gone according to plan there will be some playoff implications in this one.

Dallas Cowboys @ Kansas City Chiefs (4:25p)

A premier match-up of the two best quarterbacks in football. What a duel this one should be!

Week 12 (11-28-21)

Buffalo Bills @ New Orleans Saints (8:20p Thanksgiving)

Would not be right if I left off a Thanksgiving Day game off the list. Chicago vs. Detroit is not particularly exciting. Vegas in Dallas is a bit better. Nothing can top Buffalo in New Orleans.

Los Angeles Rams @ Green Bay Packers (4:25p)

I assume Matthew Stafford and Aaron Rodgers will meet for the coin toss and say, “So we meet again!” Bedlam will ensue while Stafford finally has the backing to stick it to Green Bay at Lambeau Field.

Week 13 (12-5-21)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Atlanta Falcons (1p)

I am fully expecting a one-sided affair in this one. Hell, Tampa should have 10+ wins by week 13. While Atlanta may struggle to have four or five. Blowouts can be just as fun as a close one!

Minnesota Vikings @ Detroit Lions (1p)

Who here thinks the Lions have a chance in this one? Wow! None of you! Over the years Detroit has always had a few tricks up their sleeve against Minnesota late in the season. I’m expecting a down to the wire overtime contest in this one.

Week 14 (12-12-21)

Buffalo Bills @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (4:25p)

I won’t waste you time on this one. Both teams should be chomping at the bit. Each team with 10+ wins. AFC vs NFC so no divisional playoff implications. Just a leg up if their paths cross in the Super Bowl. Oh boy.

Los Angeles Rams @ Arizona Cardinals (8:15p Monday Night Football)

Monday Night Football NFC West showdown. Two top-tier teams and who is to say this game does not decide the division. Look for a tooth and nail all grit kind of game in this one. Down to the wire and thrilling the entire time!

Week 15 (12-19-21)

Kansas City Chiefs @ Los Angeles Rams (8:20p Thursday Night Football)

Normally I would say this one could be a snoozer. Week fifteen both teams are already locked into playoff seating, but I do not think that will be the case given the extra week to the season. At this time of the year, it is fun to talk playoffs and the likelihood of the two meeting in the Super Bowl. So, I will go ahead and say it. These two could meet in the Super Bowl. This may be more like a chess match. Not fully showing each other too much, just in case. Hope I am wrong, and we see a full-blown heavyweight title fight!

New Orleans Saints @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers (8:20p Sunday Night Football)

At this point in the season, I would imagine Tampa has already clinched the division leaving it lame and dull. Not so fast! Tom Brady is a proud man who always wants to stay sharp. Look for the Saints to play their hearts out as the Tampa Bay defense sharpens their knives.

Week 16 (12-26-21)

Indianapolis Colts @ Arizona Cardinals (8:15p Christmas Day)

Merry Christmas! This one could be interesting on the Colts side of things. Still so much up in the air. So, I will go out on a limb here and say Jacob Eason is the QB1 in Indianapolis and has been the feel-good story of the season. Wentz unfortunately never gets full healthy while Eason just blossoms and put them in playoff contention.

Jacksonville Jaguars @ New York Jets (1p)

Look, yes, I heard you. Stop with the yelling and calling me names. How fun will this one be? Lawrence vs Wilson in New York. Both teams are well out of anything postseason at this point. In turn, the coaching staff opens the playbooks and lets the two newcomer quarterbacks do as they please. Think we see a 34-31 final here?

Week 17 (1-2-22)

New York Giants @ Chicago Bears (1p)

Odd feeling for me on this one. Could both teams here be battling to get into the playoffs? More likely it is the Giants but let us throw the Bears a bone here. The end of the year is so hard to predict. Atlanta @ Buffalo and Tampa @ New York Jets were on my list but I think we both know Buffalo and Tampa will be resting on the easy street waiting for the postseason. Is week seventeen where Daniel Jones comes through cementing himself as the Giants long term option at quarterback? You heard it here first!

Arizona Cardinals @ Dallas Cowboys (1p)

This game was too good to pass up. Throw out all that resting playoff junk here because I genuinely want to see Kyler vs Dak here in week seventeen. If we do, look out!

Thank you for reading and indulging with me! Know it is a ridiculous idea but what else are we to do in August? Again, thanks for all the support and all the great interactions on social media!
