Brian Robinson (Washington Commanders) vs. Chicago Bears If you’re facing the Chicago Bears, you’re probably in my “must-start” column. The Bears’ defense has been generous, allowing the second-most fantasy points to running backs. Even after Javonte Williams left early last week, they’re conceding over 33 fantasy points per game. Robinson should thrive in this favorable matchup.
David Montgomery (Detroit Lions) vs. Carolina Panthers Montgomery is the workhorse in Detroit, and it doesn’t change even when the Lions were beating the Packers. Facing the Panthers, who are yielding the fourth-most fantasy points to running backs, Montgomery is poised for a big day.
De’Von Achane (Miami Dolphins) vs. New York Giants De’Von Achane has been on fire, tallying over 100 yards and two touchdowns on the ground in recent weeks. He’s a rising star, and this week he faces the Giants, who are surrendering more than 25 fantasy points per game to running backs. Achane is a must-start option, and he’s climbing the ranks fast.
Breece Hall (New York Jets) vs. Denver Broncos When it comes to the Denver Broncos, you start every running back, no questions asked. They’ve allowed a whopping 613 rushing yards and seven touchdowns to opposing backs. Hall is set to have a breakout game against this struggling Broncos’ defense.
Dameon Pierce (Houston Texans) vs. Atlanta Falcons Pierce had a decent matchup last week, but this week is a different story. The Atlanta Falcons boast the second-best fantasy defense against running backs, allowing just 12.9 points per game. Don’t expect Pierce to shine in this tough matchup.
Rhamondre Stevenson (New England Patriots) vs. New Orleans Saints Stevenson hasn’t lived up to expectations this season, and facing the Saints, who rank eighth in fantasy points allowed to running backs, won’t help his case. After a disappointing performance against the Cowboys, it’s best to keep Stevenson on your bench.
Zack Moss (Indianapolis Colts) vs. Tennessee Titans Moss faces the Titans, a team notorious for stifling running backs. They’ve allowed just 13.2 fantasy points per game to the position. Moss’s lack of receiving upside adds to the concern. There are better matchups to explore this week.
