Human beings are all different. We are all strange, unique, and complex beings. Some of us form bonds and friendships based on like-minded behavior. That list is truly incomprehensible! Yet, we seek out others based on our own feelings, likes, and dislikes. The idea that there is a ‘perfect match for each one of us is an astounding idea!
We have found each other! Is it safe to say if you are reading this then we are like-minded and enjoy a lot of the same things? Good! I am happy to hear! Let’s stop fooling around and get to tonight’s hockey action!
There are eleven total hockey games tonight and these three lines have grabbed my attention!

EDMONTON OILERS L1 vs. Detroit Red Wings 9p Est
Connor McDavid L1 & PP1(FD-$10,000)(DK-$9,000)
Evander Kane L1 & PP1(FD-$6,700)(DK-$6,300)
Kailer Yamamoto L1 & PP1(FD-$3,900)(DK-$3,000)
Wow, Chris! You’re really going out on a limb here with McDavid and the Oiler’s first line. Easy now, sometimes it really is that easy. The Detroit Red Wings have lost their last five games and have been destroyed during the stretch. The only saving grace is the fact they are also scoring and keeping most games close.
Edmonton hosts the Wings tonight scoring, on average, 3.25 goals per game with a whopping 43 power-play goals to go along with 5 shorthanded goals. So, my idea here is stacking this first line seeing how Connor and Kane are huge parts of it. We could also add Leon Draistl for max power-play exposure but do so at your own risk given the price tags.
As stated in the opening sometimes advice and decisions are made easy. Everything is laid out on a silver platter. The Wings are allowing an astounding 3.75 goals per game while giving up 43 total power-play goals and 6 shorthanded goals.
The Oilers should feast at home tonight against the Red Wings. Final score 6-2!
WINNIPEG JETS L2 vs. Las Vegas Golden Knights 8p Est
Pierre-Luc Dubois L2 & PP1(FD-$6,600)(DK-$5,800)
Kyle Connor L2 & PP1(FD-$9,600)(DK-$6,800)
Nikolaj Ehlers L2 & PP2(FD-$7,000)(DK-$4,900)
The Jets are looking for their second consecutive victory against Vegas tonight. While the Golden Knights are trying to get off the losing train having lost four straights!
Kyle Connor is a stone-cold stud and leads the Jets in goals scored(37) to go along with the most points(69) Winnipeg is scoring around 3.02 goals a game while allowing an identical number of goals at 3.02. Winnipeg’s power play is slightly above average cashing in around 21% of the time.
On the flip side of it all Vegas is allowing, on average, 3.01 goals a game. Which just feeds right into the Jet’s daily goal average. The Golden Knights are killing off around 79% of the power plays faced. Which is well below average and sitting at 26th overall in the league.
Vegas is mid-slump and will have no luck tonight. The Jets should steamroll them. Final score 5-2!
ONE-OFF Alert! Blake Wheeler L1 & PP1(FD-$6,300)(DK-$4,900)
Blake Wheeler is also heavily involved in this Jets offense. Blake is leading the team with assists at 35. Mr. Wheeler seems to always have his hand in almost every positive offensive play for the Jets!
WASHINGTON CAPITALS L1 vs. New York Islanders 7p Est
Evgeny Kuznetsov L1 & PP1(FD-$7,000)(DK-$5,500)
Conor Sheary L1 & PP2(FD-$4,800)(DK-$3,600)
Alexander Ovechkin L1 & PP1(FD-$9,900)(DK-$8,600)
I try to look at each slate objectively while placing importance on several players, lines, and opposing defenses. Tonight, at 7p the Caps battle the Islanders. However, Washington has only won once in their last five games. While the Islanders have taken four of their last five. Daily fantasy sports are a cold-blooded fickle game. New York has been mentioned several times in my last few articles and cores. Yet here I am looking to stack against them!
What can I say about Alexander Ovechkin? He is leading the Caps in points(72) with 36 total goals on the season. Ten of them have come from that right circle one-timer he loves on the power play!
As we investigate the DvP matchups Washington is scoring, on average, 3.25 goals a game while the Isles are giving up about 2.75 goals a game on defense. Washington should do well tonight. Getting over the hump and finding offensive success from the first puck drop.
Washington wins here on the strength of two Ovi goals! Final score 6-3!
ONE-OFF ALERT! John Carlson L1 & PP1(FD-$7,100)(DK-$6,600)
Mr. Carlson is leading the team in assists with 39 while 13 of them have come on the power play. This guy is your prototypical defensive stud on the blueline with no signs of slowing down as he jumps into many offensive plays. It also helps that he sees a massive amount of ice time. Around 24-25 minutes a night.
